Are these puzzle hard to take apart for storage ?

Not at all! Galison is a great brand with colorful, well cut pieces. You can buy this brand confidently. During COVID, we did at least 50 Galison 500 piece puzzles. Genuine Fred and Hygge puzzles are tops, too.

Are pieces in irregular shapes or all the same

I have this particular puzzle. The pieces are two shapes--- used all throughout the puzzle. If you are familiar with Galison their puzzle pieces use two shapes-- one is narrower and longer and one is wider and more squat. No there aren't all kinds of different shapes. This is why I like their puzzles. Hope this helps.
