Great for caravan use.
We have a static caravan on a site which has its own free laundry but its been closed all season due to Covid. So we bought one of these little washers as a stop gap until the laundry reopened. At least that was the original idea, but since using this machine and finding how easy it is to use, how clean it gets the washing and how the spinner is so goot the clothes come out damp but by no means wet, we have decided to stick with it even after the laundry reopens. Its compact, its quiet in operation and worth every penny spent on it and more. You cant go wrong with one of these... its a great buy!

Saved us!
I thought long and hard before buying this machine as I never used a portable washing machine before. However, after 3 years of carrying tons of laundry around and waiting endless hours at laundrettes I decided to go for it.Several months in, I'm cherishing this product! It takes a bit to get used to how it works, but it does wonders. Some pointers:- The washing machine needs to be elevated to drain the water out; sounds complicated, but actually we solved it by simply placing it on a plastic box...doesn't really occupy more space than it did before.- The washing side needs to be filled with water. There is a plastic pipe that can be connected directly to the tap, but we prefer to use a bucket. It doesn't take that much longer and it avoids possible spills.- The washing side of the machine contains a third to half the amount of clothes of a normal washing machine; however, it only takes 15 minutes to wash and 15 to rinse, so it's just a matter of doing laundry more often but for a shorter time.- Between washing and rinsing, water needs to be drained out and replaced.- The spin-dryer side is smaller than the washing side. You need to do more or less three spins for a full washing load. Make sure the spin-dryer is completely full and push the clothes down to put in as many as you can; if half full it starts to make noise and move around a lot, and doesn't dry them as well. However, once full it only takes 5 minutes to dry the clothes almost completely! It's amazing really, regular machines often take longer to leave clothes more wet.So it takes a bit of work and getting used to, not as comfy as a regular washing machine, but for people like me living in flats without a regular washing machine, this beats using a laundrette by far. It's cheaper on the long run, it's environmentally friendly, and you can do errands at home while using it instead of having to wait for ages, also more hygienical.I waited several months to review it fearing possible breakdowns, but so far it's going great, really made a difference on our quality of life in this flat!

Great
I have been using for a month now . The machine is great ! Works really well . Only issue is the spin isn’t that great if you over pack on the wash side . And the dryer side spins really well also brings close out dry . However spots and you have to wait after around two three spin cycles . You will need to wait 15mins to use again which is a little annoying is your doing back to back . I gues just don’t let the washing build up to much ! Only reason I gave 4not 5 stars really great machine otherwise and would recommend!

Works great, just don’t use too much detergent
I bought this item for a transit room where there was not enough washing machines for the amount of people working. The waste water pipe was out the window and I used a bucket to fill it up. If a small amount of detergent was added, it’s would take 4-5 trips to fill the bucket per wash. Not a big problem. You get the hang of it quickly.Keep the loads small such as one shirt and trousers or one jacket and underwear (issue socks should be done on their own, too many and it really doesn’t work well). If you use too much detergent you’ll be adding buckets of water for days to try and rinse them.Never had a problem with it for six months of use, packed into a car easily when the job was finished.

Perfect for static caravan
I love this little twin tub. It's perfect for caravan holidays in this day and age when launderettes are few and far between. I use it in the bathroom and fill with hot water direct from the shower. I also put the drain hose in the shower tray. The only thing to be very careful with is the spin basket, which needs to be evenly & lightly loaded. I do several small spins per load of washing. The knack is to start the spin gradually then turn up the duration to 2 - 3 minutes.I keep the spin duration to 3 minutes maximum to prevent the spin motor from thermal cut out which can happen - if it does I just let it rest for ten minutes. So it's got it's foibles but all in all a great little washer which stores neatly under the bedroom dressing table when not in use.

Absolutely do not buy there. There are cheaper more robust alternatives
What a shame really. I had so much hope fo this. I bought this as a replacement for a broken washing machine in my studio. I have to say this has been my worst purchase this year. After about 10 washes there was a loud bang from the back and the smell of burning wires. And that was it. Completely dead now.£184 for 10 washes. Literally the worst thing i have bought this year. £18.4/use before we even factor in energy. I have now found out i could have gotten a second hand actual washer/dryer machine for ~£80.Even the argument as to why you will want to buy this for the camper or boat falls out in my opinion. This machine is actually very cumbersome, and requires a lot of space to store and use. Believe me you will regret buying this for a small space. Let alone the reliability. In conclusion, do not buy this equipment. It is not durable, it is too big, the quality of the wash is not that great (for instance lint management is shocking at best. Your whites will come out with enough lint to dirtier after the wash). There are better alternatives which in my haste I failed to explore. I will now have to go buy another washing machine Or use a service which will probably cost less than what this machine has thus far cost me.
