Well, when it comes down to making your own perfumes as we do finding the right mediums for your fragrances really boils down to preference and what you're trying to achieve with that said, their are several different bases out there for perfumers to choose from but so far, this particular brand works great for us. Try it you just may like it we do.

I had not used a perfumer before. There may be better ones. This one took the essential oil to another level and it lasted hours on the skin. I would order it again.

I should have read the other reviews before my purchase. Bought this to make perfume and it was a completemess. The smell of alcohol doesn't go away, doesn't mix with the essential oils well and cloudy milky color makes for a very bad product. My advice for those looking to buy this for perfume making please save yourself lots of $$ and look for another product.

Blended well with fragrance

I guess I thought perfumers alcohol was going to be more odorless, but it smells exactly like vodka. I was watching videos on how to make perfume. It said we could use vodka or a clear liquor or perfumers alcohol For the price. I will probably use vodka next time.

I used it to make home/car freshener

I have tried mixing this now with 5 different fragrance oils and it won't mix. I've even tried adding poly 80, and I have to add enough poly 80 as if I'm mixing it with water in order to clear up. Definitely won't be buying again.
