Money Wasted
I bought a cheap RCA model to test out if I might like to use only a TV Antenna and it worked fine and I got 22 channels - so I wanted a much better quality with more distance range. I ordered the NoCable 50 - Indoor Amplified TV Antenna by NoCable | 50-mile Range. I set it up and got only 6 channels and it either freezes, is pixilated or both. I did multiple scans, and even moved it to another TV. No luck. I moved the placement from a window to an outside wall, standing verses hanging, no luck. I don't understand how a cheap 30 mile RCA $15 model could work better than the NoCable 50 - Indoor Amplified TV Antenna by NoCable | 50-mile Range.

Everything I wanted in an antenna!
I've been through 3 different amplified antennas, none of which performed as advertised. Basic local channels came in with digital noise. I had to constantly move one of them every time I changed channels. Two channels within 25 miles wouldn't show up at all, even with one of those "50 mile" antennas. But this antenna delivered everything I wanted and more! Hooking it up was so easy. It even came with everything I needed to mount it. It was on my wall in just a few minutes. I was a little worried because, even with the generous length of the coaxial cable, I could not quite reach the outside wall or a window. I was afraid without that external exposure that I'd be disappointed in the results. Amazingly, I not only got all of the channels clearly that were once marginal at best -- I now can get the two channels I could not even see before -- plus a couple I did not know were there, from over 50 miles away in Western Kentucky. This was one of the better purchases I've made for my cord-cutting crusade. Who needs cable when you have great streaming plus crystal clear local channels? ABC, CBS, ABC, the CW, Fox, PBS - I have them all, plus Bounce, Escape, MeTV, Grit, Laff, and several others. If your reception is at all marginal, this is the antenna to have.

The best part of it is that this will all be ...
Don't even bother trying one of the cheap knock-offs. I bought another "50 mile" cheap antenna it wasn't even close in the number of channels picked up compared to this one. With the NoCable 50, I got all the important channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox) that their website said I would, and they all come in crystal clear HD. I can’t believe I didn’t do this earlier.I already had a Roku, and now with this antenna, I’ve finally completed my cable-tv-free setup. The best part of it is that this will all be paid for within 2 months of not paying for Cable TV!

Not suited for hilly terrain
I bought two of these when I ditched cable and they don't bring in a great signal at all. What they do manage to bring in is continuously lost and my TV prompts me to scan for a signal every time I try to use this antenna. I live between 20-25 miles from the local broadcasting stations, in the Puget Sound region of WA state. The only way I see this being worth the $ is if you live where it's flat, if not, go straight to a streaming service.

This thing really works!
This antenna has made watching tv possible for me again. I did not believe that a device was available to pull in reception without being located on the roof. But this device does a good job. Having been brought up using roof top antennas that used a rotor to change the direction of the antenna to get better reception, I did not expect much. This antenna works. As well as cable? No - of course not, but I am not paying 100.00 + a month just to watch news and weather. I am able to pull in both Rochester and Buffalo channels as well as several PBS channels. Exactly what I wanted.I do stream Netflix and Amazon prime, so I now have exactly what I want for my TV usage. Now if only I had a way to get rid of paying for the internet... that would be perfect.

Great Product!
I rarely watch TV and if I do, it’s almost all streaming (HBO and Netflix) anymore. All I really need are the local channels for the news and football. My friend suggested getting an offair TV antenna, so after a doing lot of research, I settled on the NoCable 50 Ultra Flat Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. It arrived yesterday, and I was able install and set it up in a couple of minutes. After running the channel scan on my TV, I picked up 22 channels! I'm glad I went the route of dropping cable tv.

The NoCable TV Preamplifier makes this antenna a superstar
We live near Jacksonville, FL, close to the Cecil Field Airport. CBS 47 is easily received. NBC 12 and ABC 25 are notoriously difficult to receive even though their transmitting towers are only 19 miles from our home. The indoor TV antennas we’ve tried won’t get all three, even with amplification. Then I installed the NoCable 50. It picked up all three major networks most of the time. There was some shuttering on both 12 and 25, and also some tiling on 25. It worked well enough for use in my wife's craft room where watching TV wasn't the primary objective. It didn't work well enough to sit down and watch a show. However, there’s a super solution. NoCable now has a powered, TV Antenna Preamplifier, sold separately. I purchased one on April 11 and installed it on the NoCable 50. It still took some work to get full reception, but we did. With this Preamplifier, we get 38 channels, including WJXT, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and TBN. It has performed flawlessly for three months now. Perfect for someone living on a fixed income...
Love it, hooked it up in a matter of minutes with the easy to follow instructions, let my tv search out the channels and gained 18 local channels, all the major networks, including PBS! I live on a fixed income and can't afford the outrageous cable tv costs. I have internet, a modem and use Roku (which I love) for streaming and now this device allows me to add the major networks -- it's a win win for me! This devise, in addition to my other one time purchases, allows me to watch what I want on tv without paying for cable packages that are expensive and would limit me to their selections. Love my al la carte tv viewing -- my money and my choices.

Average
Expected better than other cheaper brand my colleague, but equal or less reception.
