Great for additional cup holders
these are great for addition cup holders lacking in the van or car. These fit standard coke cans but nothing wider.

Cupholder for where you need one, not where the vehicle manufacturer thinks you need one.
Bought these cup holders to replace similar ones that broke after several years. They are reasonable sturdy, compact, and fold up so they are out of the way when no needed. Although adjustable, they are not easy to adjust for different container sizes. Also, they are difficult to install with a drill/driver because you have to unfold them to install, and the base and clips get in the way of the drill, particularly the lower screws. It would have been nice if the fold down base had clearance holes for the screws/screw-heads. That way, the holes could be marked, drilled and the screws installed with the cup holder in the folded position with out the cup holder interfering with the drill. That is why I gave it only three stars.

Needed these to hang in camper by the couch. Nice sturdy and so compact. Keeps coke and bottle waters off the floor! Love them

Functional and collapsible.
I like the feature that when they are not being used, they fold out of the way. I worry that they may break if a line gets wrapped around one of them on the sailboat, but at least they are cheap and easy enough to replace.

Does not fit mugs.
Does not fit mugs which is the main purpose I bought these holders. Disappointed.

Extremely hard to open and close arms for wider drinks.
I have purchased a few collapsible drink holders for both my vehicle and my boat. While many are far cheaper than these they only last a few years. These are built super sturdy however on all four i can barely expand and retract the arms for larger drinks. I am afraid of breaking in fact. so While good value and ease of install are high the sturdiness is to much when they are not easily adjusted. That's why the one star on the sturdiness. I would recommend but you will need to add grease or some type of lubricant for sure.
