Lenovo ThinkPad 57++,P/N: 0C52864 9 Cell Extended Life Lithium Ion Laptop Battery, 100 Wh, 10.8v, 1.07 lbs, Retail Packaged

Initially, I had big power drain issues after it went down to 50%. There would be a lot of screen flickering to the point where it was unusable. I reinstalled the display and power drivers, did a refresh on my windows, did a lenovo system update, and searched and installed drivers on the lenovo website. It wasn't fixed until I set the processor power management on the maximum processor state to 99% instead of 100%.

I like that item.

I have a Lenovo T540p laptop I have had for years and this was to be my third battery purchase. The information I am providing is based on information I received directly from Lenovo hardware support.While this battery is sold under a general Lenovo part number of 0C52864 (9 cell, 57++, Li-Ion), there are actually TWO different Lenovo FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) part numbers for this product: 45N1153 and 45N1779. The 45N1153 is an older part number and is backward- compatible with all Lenovo T540p bios levels.Liquid PC does NOT sell the older FRU part number 45N1153, only the newer 45N1779 FRU part number. If your T540p laptop bios is level 2.33 or lower, FRU 45N1779 WILL NOT WORK !!! This critical piece of information is missing from any portion of this website description. Furthermore, if your battery is dead, the newer Lenovo bios cannot be loaded because the flash of the bios requires a full battery.I am not sure if this holds true with other models of Lenovo laptops.

Replaced my factory battery which, just so happened, to crap out a month out of warranty. I installed this battery (incredibly simple, anyone can do it, definitely plug and play) and my battery life is back to what a functioning laptop should be. Honestly, it's better than the pre-installed battery. Maybe I just got a poor one to start and didn't know the grass was supposed to be greener but if you are in the market for this battery, GO FOR IT! Mine also came with a free year of unlimited amazon cloud storage. I don't use it but that's still a nice bonus. Never got any message about the battery not being compliant. Perfect battery in my opinion!

This battery seemed to work fine at first. However, after a month or so, my W540 began shutting down while in sleep mode with the lid closed. Now, most of the time, it won’t start up with the battery installed. When I press the power butting, nothing happens at all. I must take out the battery, plug in the power supply, start the computer, then reinsert the battery. It charges and holds a charge fine. I can run my laptop for extended periods on just the battery. But, if shut down it won’t restart with the battery installed. If I leave the computer in sleep mode for a while, it will shut down (battery still full) and then not restart with the battery installed. It a big pain in the butt.

One of my favorite purchases. I never have to plug in on trips and don't have to worry about it around the house. I usually get 7-8 hours. I've never had the fortune of having a battery last this long. Update - after about 2 years - the battery lasts 1/2 as long. Might have to do with the fact that I usually leave it plugged in most of the time at full charge. I purchased another one. Same thing as last time - lasts 7-8 hours. Awesome on long flights.

The battery that I received today from Liquid PC is a new, genuine Lenovo brand product. It was in a Lenovo box, sealed with a holographic Lenovo ThinkPad sticker. The battery was manufactured in October of 2016, only three months ago. The date on the Lenovo label on the box is 2016-12-12.The original 57++ battery had over two years of heavy use on my T540p, being recharged on three different power supplies. I expect the same performance from this new battery.

Purchased the battery in October and already running into issues. Battery will not charge to 100% and even with the larger capacity doesn't add any more real-life difference under load from using a five-tab browser and excel.I've attempted to get service or warranty or contact with both Amazon and Lenovo on this which Amazon (rightfully I guess) places on Lenovo. Lenovo doesn't understand the difference between a warrantied laptop and warrantied battery that is less than a couple months old.I love IBM (Lenovo) products, but am seriously considering other options to upgrade to for myself and my business.

This battery is chunky but has about 9 hour of battery life . Good quality.fast delivery

This is a genuine Lenovo battery judging by the weight of this battery, the text on it, the manual it shipped with and the Lenovo packaging it arrived in. It's much cheaper to buy it here than directly from Lenovo via their website making this excellent value.It's a major upgrade from the 6 cell 57+ battery that my L540 shipped with (which would be dead after about 5 or 6 hours if I was really careful with screen brightness and other settings). I can easily get 8-10 hours of out this battery on my L540 using the power saver plan in Windows 10 (machine spec: i5 4200M, 250GB SSD, 1080p display). I often go a day or two at work before I have to charge it. The battery does add some weight to the laptop and the extra cells stick out of the back of course, but if like me you want the best battery life possible then I would definitely recommend this!

Die angegebene Energiemenge von 100 Wh sind im Energie-Manager mit 99,4 fast erreicht, die Abweichung fällt wohl unter die Messtoleranz.Gegenüber dem Standard Akku mit 57 Wh fast eine Verdoppelung der Laufzeit.Einen Stern Abzug gibt es erstens für die Verarbeitung des Gehäuses: dieses ist ziemlich scharfkantig an der Rückseite.Zweitens, und das betrifft weniger das Produkt als vielmehr die Preisgestaltung: Der Akku wird von Amazon stets zu Preisen zwischen 90€ und 80€ angeboten, also lieber eine Weile beobachten. Besser wäre ein dauerhafter Niedrigpreis.Fazit:++ 100 Wh und ein ganzer Arbeitstag ohne Aufladen- Gehäuse könnte besser verarbeitet sein- - Amazons PreispolitikPS: Über die Langlebigkeit berichte ich in etwa 6 Monaten
