 This small, but powerful head torch produces a brilliant white light that will provide easily enough light for any job. I’ve used it at work as well at home whilst in the loft where it had freed up my hands to carry things.What’s included:=============The torch arrived in a compact box that included instructions and a short 25cm micro USB charging cable. The instructions are simple and easy to follow.Headband:=========The torch came already charged so you can use it directly out of the box. The elasticated headband is fully adjustable and comfortable to wear. I haven’t had any issues with it cutting into my scalp. The head torch is mounted on a hinged bracket that enables you to angle it down to your desired direction.Torch:======It has a CREE 3W LED that generates 160 lumens brightness. The torch is powered by a Lithium 1200mAh USB rechargeable battery. This will last between 4 hours on the highest intensity and supposedly 30 hours at the lower intensity but I can’t confirm this. Charging takes approximately 4 hours using a 2.4A USB plug.Modes:======There are a high / low intensity, strobe and an IR activated light at high intensity. These modes are activated by pushing the silicon button on the top. The right side for varying intensities and the left side to activate IR mode.These modes are shown in the video where the lamp is 18ft away which illustrates the brightness of the torch outside.Overall, it is a great head torch and does exactly what you need from such a device. I was after a cheap backup headlamp for cycling, something that doesn’t add much bulk to my helmet and is lightweight. At this low price I wasn’t expecting much from this headlamp but there’s a lot of lamp for the money.It’s incredibly light and compact. When it arrived I was surprised how it fit into such a small box. It is ultra-portable and folds up to fit in literally pocket/compartment.There are two modes of light; one continuous and the other an IR sensor activated light that switches on/off via hand gesture. It’d not the brightest lamp (as mentioned this is a backup for my main headlamp) but it certainly is lighter and lasts longer! One full charge typically can provide over 20 hours of use. I haven’t had to recharge yet.The batteries are built in behind the LED lamps. A micro-USB port is situated under the lamp where the charging cable is inserted to recharge. The USB cable supplied is far too small, not a deal-breaker for me as any Android cable would be fine.I’d recommend for cycling or any situation where short-focus vision is required. For long distance, camping, climbing etc you’re better off with a more expensive long range lamp but for daily use it’s brilliant.

----Brief review----A practical and user friendly head torch which is suitable for a large variety of users with it's helpful adjustable strap. The torch is useful for a number of activities from caving to dog walking and will illuminate a large, dark environment.----Detailed review----The camera arrived well packaged and protected in a smart simple box which includes symbols of the potential activities the head torch could be used for. Complete with a user guide to allow for an easy set up and a micro USB cable to charge the head torch. The rechargeable nature of the torch makes it ideal for the economically minded as it saves them from regularly having to buy batteries to keep the torch charged and is very practical as most people have USB plugs. The torch has a number of different settings including a single, stationary light, Dim light and a flashing light, the torch also has a motion sensor built in as an additional feature. Overall i believe this versatile head torch is ideal for a variety of activities and i will personally be using it again for music festivals.

Great head torch that is suitably bright, long lasting, easy (and relatively quick) to charge, and has a great optional ability to switch on and off by waving your hand just in front of the torch - making it very useful for "hands-free" use. Comes complete with head band and charging lead. Torch options scroll from permanent on (low and high brightness), flashing and off. By pressing and holding the button on top, you can initiate the hands free switching which is quite sensitive - and effective. The charging socket cover has a silicone flap that is a bit tricky to fit back in place - the instructions suggest using a toothpick - not sure how many people have these to hand when out in the wilds! Other than this, a great device and splashproof to boot!

I have been using this every night when I am out walking the dogs basically because I live in a village and where the dogs go there is absolutely no lighting.The light comes attached to an elastic expandable band and is rechargeable saving the costs of replacing batteries, just charge and go. It operates on a button on the top of the lights. The angle of the light is really easy to adjust (see photo).Pressing the button changes the light function through its three settings from high beam, low beam or flashing that is to best suit your environment. It has made my walks a lot safer and my partner uses it when he goes night fishing because he can angle the beam to suit his needs.

Excellent quality headband light bought for our families disaster preparedness go-bag.I needed something light (ha!), ready for use and comfortable to wear.The light is bright enough to work by and will provide adequate coverage for our needs.The strap is comfortable enough and easy to adjust to the desired size and its extremely good value for money.

Bought for my 3 peaks challenge for charity.Didn't get used.Good for late night running and cycling as very bright.Also, strobe setting good for airsoft.

I haven't really used this head torch yet but having looked at it and given it a try I'm impressed. The light is bright and it is easy to use.

Extremely effective wide beam. Comfortable to wear and easy to charge. Would highly recommend this product.

Comfortable to wear for prolonged periods, say half an hour.A very powerful beam, which is narrowly focused rather then widely focused.
