I would not have tried to paint my car if it werent for this paint. I would have needed tons of equipment. 2k clear from spraymax gloss glamour is amazing. I sprayed over rustole 2x yellow ginger ( I waited 1 week before clear coating). I used about 24 cans on a whole car which is about 3 to 4 coats. Always spray far 7 inches at first and let dry for 15 minutes, then you can lay your thick layer to prevent runs. Use a bright light with overlapping coats, or have a very well lit garage, you have to put your head into the painting to see the shine as you go. Make sure to mix with the activator and shake for 3 minutes or more. I could have got better results if i had sealed the garage but i am still happy with the results. The way i finished the car was by doing 2 panels at a time and covering the rest with masking tape and plastic. It took longer, but if you do the whole car at once you will see overspray dull areas on the last panel. The only downside was the leaking cans from the first batch, when mixing the activator. The cans would leak out of the bottom. Amzn refunded and made it right. But 2nd batch was perfect (mixed well with activator with no leaks) and i was able to finish the project. From primer to paint and clear coat and materials it costed about 1200, but much cheaper than the 3000 to 4000 dollar whole car paint quote. This is expensive paint, but still a good deal knowing that i saved money. I never tried other brands but spraymax 2k clear comes out pretty good and i assume it will last a while.

If im using a clear coat I always use spray max 2k clear and have never had a problem with them until now. I Orderd the 12 pack and most cans worked but a few blew up when taking the red button and activing the 2 parts
