Tastes like it’s been kept in a shed for 10 years
I bought this to make my own milk thistle tea with. This doesn’t taste like milk thistle at all. It tastes really old and dusty

Whole milk thistle seeds in bulk
A kilo of milk thistle seeds makes for a fairly bulky package, which is reassuring as they should last for quite a while depending on the dosage you take. Some people recommend eating the seeds whole sprinkled on your food, or else they can be ground down as needed. The seeds are a mix of grey and green, and seem to be of good quality although notably they don't claim to be organic. They aren't necessarily the cheapest option on the market though.

My skin reacted badly to this, and I received headaches.
I didn't change my diet or any aspect of my life whilst trying this product, and after filtering-out the debris and starting-to consume this product; I found that I initially developed headaches. This progressed into some sort of skin reaction, and combined with the headaches; I had to spend Christmas completely isolated.Having stopped, only now have both sets of symptoms subsided; hence, why I know that it was due-to ingesting this product, as all of the diet and other factors remained exactly the same. What's baffling, is that not only have I never suffered from any allergies before now, but also that I have used Milk Thistle prior-to now in capsule form with no ill-effects whatsoever; so, I'm struggling to ascertain the issue. The only reason that I stopped using it before was because it was costing over £100 a year, and being somebody who monitors clinical studies for a multitude of supplements, there hadn't been any even remotely positive trials, and the only ones that did exist were of very poor quality. But, as this natural wholefood derivative represented very good value for money, I thought that this would make Milk Thistle affordable again and I could trial my own personal study, but due-to the aforementioned; this wasn't to be.I'm sure that most will be fine using this product, and cannot mark it down due-to my own personal unsuitability or 'weird' sudden intolerance; and can only mark it down slightly, due-to the fact that consumers shouldn't have-to spend so much time cleaning away the seemingly endless amount of additional debris that these 1kg packet of seeds duly contain. I've never known other pouches of seeds for human consumption to contain so much extra excess (inedible) product.
