Brilliant core drill!
Have used this core drill at my previous company so bought one when i went self employed, highly recommend it lasts for ages and can take on really tough holes.

Brilliant tool
We were getting nowhere making pipe holes though some tough walls with another brand and almost breaking our arms with kickback. This beauty does the job smoothly and efficiently with enough grunt to make it easy.Buy cheap buy twice. Get quality first time and save tears. A recommended product.

Great drill
Great drill. This is the forth I've owned. One died and the other two nicked. Did try the cheaper DeWalt, not in same class.

It’s what we come to expect from a Makita product
Can only repeat that it’s good value my last one served for over 6 years

Makita quality
It’s a Makita! Well made drill. Seems suitable for dry diamond bit cores up to 110mm in concrete. However, struggles if drilling “wet” clay brick with dry core bits. Clay fines bind bit and cause safety clutch to engage constantly. Probably more a function of the core bit quality than the drill. With a water swivel it works great on wet cores.Overall powerful enough for most jobs.

Bad core drill
Good core drill only drawback is drill speed is slow takes ages to core , only single speed and clutch sticks for no reason
