What a beast. This thing costs the same as a daily rental. It's perfect for breaking up concrete on small jobs. I did a 5x15ft section of old sidewalk that a large tree had pushed up and made uneven. I looked up on YouTube the best way to jack hammer concrete, and followed those directions. Go in a line 4-6" from the edge, and it will crack on that line. Worked perfect and took maybe an hour. It stores nicely in a blow molded case with a few accessories. It came with oil but didn't make it to the sight glass so I had to buy some AW46 Hydraulic Fluid. Pretty cheap stuff at local stores like Tractor Supply. I was pretty shocked to see that the power cord is only 18 AWG. That's maybe 10A territory, and at the rated 2200w it needs closer to 18A @ 120v. I was seeing about 15.5A (1800w) on a Kill-A-Watt running full tilt into concrete with a 20A outlet. I might replace the cord later on to 14 or 12awg, should help reduce some heat and give a bit more power due to less voltage drop. The handle cover comes off with 2 screws, and I'd need to add some terminals and to splice some wires to do that. Not sure what the internal wire gauge is, but it didn't look much thicker. Still giving it 5 stars due to the price. None of the other reviews mention melted wires or connections, so I think the relatively short duty cycle makes the 18 AWG cord work. I use a lot of generic Chinese stuff, and aside from some quirks they usually provide really good value.

Worked quite well, no issues. Broke apart a 3ft x 8 ft x 6in step very easily. Also like the fact that the hard case has wheels on it. Overall satisfied with purchase.

This thing was ready to go right out of the box. Took it to a set of torsion keys on my truck id been pounding at for 3 days unsuccessfully- even tried to chisel them out with an air chisel to no avail. Literally 10 seconds of pressure with this sent them flying, I couldn't believe it. Worth every penny. Took a star off because the accessories are a joke - the "safety goggles" were so soft the thin plastic lense fell out and bent, not that it would have protected anything anyway. The oil was empty, and the bottle was too. If you can get past that then its perfect

for the money it works out nicely. Iive been in construction mist of ny life and gas a freind whos waterline busted under their driveway. this jackhammer made quick work of breaking up about a third of it . i have zero complaints but the only thing id suggest is the handle thats on the side cant be tightened to a constant position so it always spins . awkward at first but i got used to it and the reat is history

Impossible to beat for the money. I had a large boulder to clear out, this thing got the job done in about 15 minutes. Granted, I had to take rest breaks every 5 minutes, this sucker is heavy and operating a jack hammer takes some strength. Very nicely packaged, the only extra item I bought was some oil. Having two separate bits was incredibly helpful. Can't speak to the durability since I sold it on Marketplace (for the same amount...) after the job was done, but it feels well made.

I bought this (the two tool version) to break up the deck around a pool. It has been really fantastic. I'm about 60% finished and so far so good. After about 20 hours of use I added oil per the instructions and that process was really easy. The oil was sold at my local home improvement store for five bucks. The main advantage to buying this hammer is that I didn't have to rent a jackhammer and be tempted to do the whole project in only a few days. You're really not supposed to use a jackhammer for an extended period of time to protect the nerves in your hand and I don't think I could have done this more quickly without injuring my hands (I'm about 50 years old). So owning one, I can do 20 to 40 minutes at night when I get home from work. Slow and steady wins the race. The concrete I'm breaking up is 6-8" thick with wire reinforcement. Once I got the hang of it, I am pretty productive. I only wish that the handle were a little wider to accommodate two handed side-by-side use at the top. My hands are pretty wide. I bought some of those vibration dampening gloves and they are pretty helpful too. Be sure to use eye protection as it kicks back in your face on occasion. The electrical part has been easy - my standard outdoor plug has been fine without tripping any breakers. Anyway, I haven't seen a downside so far to having bought this. If you had told me five years ago that I would own a jackhammer, I would have been really confused by that suggestion hah.

It was massively cheaper to buy this than rent a hammer from the local hardware store. It did a very good job breaking down old concrete fence piers for disposal. I have not had to change the oil or brushes yet so they last quite a while.

Ältere Betonfundamente mit 30cm Breite (wenig armiert) oder auch jede Art von Estrich zerlegt das Gerät spielend. Eine neuere Betonstiege mit bis zu 75cm Dicke und höherem Zementgehalt wird allerdings zur Geduldsprobe. Trotz tagelangem Dauereinsatz keinerlei Störungen - ein grossartiges Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Beachten sollte man, dass das Gerät mit knapp 15kg bei waagrechten Schremmarbeiten auf Dauer doch etwas schwer in der Hand liegt ;) PS: Der Einschalter hat einen kleinen Knubbel mit dem er arretiert und auf Dauerfeuer gestellt werden kann.

Je viens de recevoir ce marteau piqueur, et j'avoue que j'avais un gros doute quand on sait que pour un tel appareil il faut compter un prix multiplié par dix Sans avoir encore pu le tester sur un vrai chantier, le matériel semble costaud Alors oui, les lunettes de protection, les gants, et le masque à poussière sont directement passé à la poubelle tellement ils étaient de mauvaise qualité... et la boite est un peu cassée (mais fonctionnelle comparé à celles d'autres commentaires) mais pour le prix je ne vais certainement pas râler :)

Decir que me a llegado un dia antes de la fecha de entrega y sobre el producto....es el de 2.200W y de momento muy bien, tiene bastante fuerza. Le he puesto una pala especifica para esta clase de martillos y no se detiene con nada, e picado en tierra pero llega a una parte que es rocosa y bastante dura y aun teniendo el ancho que tiene la pala rompe sin esfuerzo. De momento muy contento con la copra ya que calidad precio es muy buena. En caso de alguna incidencia editare mi opinion.
