Excellent bag for a golfing holiday. Loads of room and pretty sturdy..

This is an excellent travel cover. Lots of space, and well made. I just returned from a trip and the case kept my clubs safe and the handles had no problem coping with the 24Kg weight of the clubs plus all of the clothing, toiletries and shoes I had crammed in there. This enabled me to have all of my stuff in the hold and just a rucksack on board the plane making it much easier to travel without the hassle of finding room in the overhead lockers for hand luggage. My driver is 48" (120cm) and managed to fit in but anything longer than that may struggle. This case is much better than the previous one I had because it remained stable and did not tip over when being pulled. It also manages to stand upright which is very useful when queuing or being crammed on an airport shuttle bus. Definitely recommended. The delivery of the case was excellent with it being despatched within a day of being ordered. The case comes folded in half and could fold down to that when empty, making it easier to store. The two outside zip pockets cannot be locked and thus are of limited use but I used them to pack underwear and other items that nobody would want to steal. If they were to introduce a wire loop cable which could be routed through all 4 zip loops that would be excellent

The bag is awesome and good value - it held the clubs and bag and related materials. The material is strong and bag zips are very sturdy - side pockets are only useful for non-valuable items as they are not lockable.The bag was easy to carry and move around.One major issue was the plastic piece on one of the straps broke when tightening it. Should be much sturdier.

A standout golf bag. Excellent clubhead protection. Sturdy zippers and easy coast rollers. Easily fits a cart bag with all the golfing extras, shoes, etc.

Sturdy golf travel bag at reasonable price

I've had this now for almost three years so it's a good time to give an informed review post use. I have taken this bag on a plane on three separate occasions so three return journeys weighing up to 22kg. After the second journey the bag started to tear at the seams near the wheels. I managed to get a further use out of it earlier this year after patching it up but am now considering replacing it. On the plus point it is roomy... It accommodates my cart bag, golf shoes, balls and some clothes. The handles are sturdy and wheels work well.

The Woodworm Golf Deluxe Travel Cover offers a level of protection for your clubs that matches a number of traditional 'golf brands' offerings, but at a lower price. I especially like the internal 360 degree wrap-around padded protection for the club heads that are an integral part of this product. The 5 stars reflect the overall value for money of the product, but some elements offered by other golf covers will not be found with this product I.e. There are no internal shoe/ball pockets, but all of the essential needs are covered. The cover will comfortably hold a reasonable size trolley bag with room to tuck in additional items of clothing. The zip and material appear to be robust (I have only used it for one flight so far) and the handles are strong to allow you to tow the bag using the 2 wheels that are built in to the cover.

Bottom line, this isn’t an expensive bag and it safely got my clubs to and from Portugal - it’s spacious, you can get loads in and the colour made it easy to pick out. However, after just one trip the bottom has worn through to the extent I wouldn’t be able to use it again. So if you’re happy to pay £80 for a bag that will last for one trip then it’s a good option, but if you expect to be able to use it on repeated occasions this isn’t the bag to go for.UPDATE I contacted the seller to request a refund as I’m not happy the bag is no longer usable after one trip. He was very dismissive and said I hadn’t taken reasonable care of the item and it wasn’t their problem if it had worn through after one trip. Short of me loading it onto the plane myself I’m not quite sure what I was expected to do differently so I’ve reluctantly had to escalate it with Amazon Customer Care as this is really poor from the seller.
