Not good
So first off this thing is rather complicated to program. A whole lot of key turning, door opening, and lock pressing. Just read the instructions 4 to 10 times before starting and you should get it after the 3rd try. That is not the reason for the 2 stars though. The case opens often. It will just pop open in my pocket. A couple days after I first got it programmed, it stopped working. I submitted a return through Amazon. The company emailed me and told me to change the battery. I was pissed because I thought they sold me a fob with a dead battery and didn't just offer the return. After a strongly worded email they did offer the return. I then opened it to see if I had a spare battery, which I didn't. However, when I closed it it worked again. That is until I noticed it popped open a week later. The case is so poorly fit that it cannot hardly stay closed against the tiny spring force of the battery holder. I ended up putting a single drop of super glue on either side of the pry gap. Not enough that it will break the case the next time I need to open it, but enough to keep it closed.I cannot find anything on the case or the circuit board that says Subaru. I'm pretty sure this is just an expensive aftermarket fob sold as Subaru original equipment. If anybody has an original fob, will you please verify that it does or does not have any subaru identification on it.Lastly the panic button is unusable unless you have tiny 4 year old fingers or a pencil available. It is recesced in the plastic so far that I am completely unable to depress it unless I really cram my pinky finger in the hole. The panic button on my pathfinder find used to just go off randomly when my keys were in my pocket which is far worse.Despite all the complaints, the fob does work. I can lock and unlock all doors remotely even from across a parking lot.Over all, programming it sucks, case doesn't stay closed, customer service not the most helpful, no subaru tags and impossible panic button. However it does lock and unlock my door.

Very satisfied customer.
I received my Subaru Keyless Entry FOB yesterday, two days after it was ordered, and nearly one week before it was promised. The remote looked like it was new. I opened it up to see and write down the code, then closed it again. I used the programming instructions that are included in the Subaru Manual. They are very "wordy" and seemed intimidating, so I wrote down the "code" from the remote, and then a summary of the steps. Got in the car, put the key in the ignition, and then started by opening and closing the drivers door, turning the key on and off ten times, opening and closing the door again, and then pushing the lock/unlock button to enter the code (twice.) It worked the first time. In fact, it is a very easy process. The tag with the code on it was a bonus, and I registered my keys in case I ever lose them again. Nice touch. I highly recommend Your Keyless Entry. Of course, saving nearly $100 over my dealers quote for getting a new FOB and programming it for me has made me feel like taking my wife out to dinner.

Good working part...NOT GENUINE SUBARU MADE...
Pros: It works. It is made in Japan, NOT China. This is a good thing. Subaru's are made in Japan.Cons: They advertise it as a Genuine Subaru Part. They even post a picture of an original Subaru Package. My part that came was NOT a GENUINE SUBARU PART. Fine, no prob, but at least don't mislead me so I'll buy it. Most people probably can't tell the difference...trickery.They advertise "free instructions" on the website (which is extremely frustrating and confusing to navigate) and when you finally figure out how to get to the programming instructions link...it reads "NOT AVAILABLE." Huh?! Well, at least they were free.Bought it, received it, got it to finally work (youtube vid) and it came with a battery. Thank you for the part, seller. This was a frustrating purchase in which I felt purposefully mislead to believe it is a genuine Subaru part. I'm ok with aftermarket, just tell me what I'm getting. Will change my rating if they change their ad. Thanks for reading.

Works fine.
Worked as expected for my 2005 legacy gt. The picture shows the FOB that has the large unlock button, but the FOB I received has the smaller square cut-out unlock button. Not really a problem, just an observation. I think it's the slightly newer one.Programming was pretty easy. If you need instructions on how to do it, just google "subaru legacy key fob programming". There are at least a few videos on youtube that will show you how to do it. You WILL want to gather up your other FOBs, since the computer on the car will only store so many of them. My old one got pushed off the list when I set up the two new ones, so I added the old one back on after finishing up the new ones and everything worked out fine. I think it will store 4 or 5, but I'm not entirely sure on that number.I swapped out the CR2025 battery before even trying to start, so no battery issues for me.

Works GREAT with my 2000 Subaru Legacy L Model
This will be the first review someone writes about the 2000 Suba legacy L model, believe me I read all the comments and questions, and neither said if this key-less entry remote works or not. First of all when it arrived (very fast may I add) my husband was very hesitant on it working on our model and year Suba. So I told him that amazon said it worked and if it doesn't we can just return it. Okay, so then he and I went to the car and he programed it in literally in 15 seconds. It was SUPER easy to program and it works perfectly and also it does bring the battery (no where does it say it does, I also looked). So if you are looking to change the style or just need to buy one because your car didn't come with one (like mine) then I highly recommend this one.

Couldn't program it to function

Not new as advetised
Keys were not new as disclosed. They had dents and scratches. Printed programing instructions was barely readable. I was able to program both keys without problem.
