Easy to read measurements. The base is wide enough to keep the jug steady. Great handle also.

(Full Review)I needed a large measuring jug for safely mixing chemicals in for garden use that was both stable and easy to lift (even with my shaky hands) that I could then pour into a 5L pressure sprayer.There is a 5L capacity jug of the same make (Zodiac) and style sold on Amazon and last time I checked it was only 1penny more than this one, however that may have been harder to lift and it's really simple to refill so this size is ideal.What I like about this 3L jug is it's taller rather than wider than many I saw. This means the weight of the liquid is more centralized making it Easy to Lift and Pour without the liquid being able to create waves at the slightest of tilts which could off balance the jug creating spills. Also the thickness of the material makes it very stable and reliable even when full.The handle is comfortable to hold, even for large hands such as mine, and positioned high up which also makes lifting seem lighter and more controlled.The other useful benefit for having a narrower opening is I can rest the large funnel on the top without the need to hold it freeing up both hands to hold the chemical bottles safely which is a must.A funnel isn't necessary but again shaky hands and chemicals aren't a good mix without abit of an assist.The measurements are shown in both Litres and Pints and are marked in red on one side making them clear to read, and also embossed on the opposite side which obviously will never rub or wear off. Very useful.Being food safe plastic you can use it for your kitchen needs and it is dishwasher safe. Not sure the red markings will survive the dishwasher but I've not tried.It can also be used in the garden, as i do, or a mechanics garage, amongst many other settings for example as it has a narrow spout for a controlled pour.Well built and hard wearing I can see this lasting a long time. It was not appreciated when ordered just how narrow is the base on these. As they are also quite tall, they are essentially unstable un less full or nearly full of liquid. Although glass would be heavier and thus more stable, it is fragile and the thought of breakage after a drinking glass recently shattered and its smaller shards are still being found a week or so later.These were therefore returned and are to be replaced with larger equivalents.

Does wat i wanted it for

Works very well, bends a bit when filled to the top and lifted but it seems sturdy enough and I have no issues after using it daily for a few months.

I bought this for medical reasons as I had to complete a urine flow test at home to check my bladder was emptying properly. Im just say it was up to the task, the perfect volume and easy to clean.
