Spy Kids [DVD]

This is a 2001 science fantasy family adventure in which Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara) are just normal kids until they discover their parents Ingrid and Gregorio Cortez (Carla Gugino and Antonio Banderas) are super-spies, after their parents are kidnapped by an evil baddie bent on world domination. And it’s up to the kids to save the day.Filled with funny crazy ’monsters’ such as the ‘Fooglies’ who speak gibberish and the dumb ‘Thumb-Thumb’ henchmen, and gadgets galore, this is almost live action comic book fun for all the family. It’s Willy Wonka merging with James Bond, and it’s guaranteed to enthral the youngsters with its bright and bold colours while the plot and cast are engaging enough for older viewers. With no swearing or nudity, this is an obvious recommendation and a ***** family movie without doubt.

I got this as a used item, and was really pleased with the quality (no scratches or anything). Was purchased for my sons super spy pyjama party and it was a great choice! Ok a couple of the more easily-distracted boys just couldn't sit through it, but the rest really enjoyed it and giggled at the funny parts. I generally loves the movies my kids enjoy but I found it slow to start and a bit corny in parts. But it was great for the age I bought for (6/7yr olds), but way too detailed for my 3 yr old to follow. Good communication with seller.

First off for a movie in 2001 its not as bad as i thought it was going to be. But that microwave used in the safe house is from another world. Get Elon Musk on the case to make thks a reality, anyway 5 stars.

Spy Kids starts with a bedtime story. Unknown to them, the story is about their parents who are spies.The parents who were on non field work get called in to work a case, but they are also taken and the family is threatened. The search for a brain, is the key to the story. The Kids find out that their family was not what it appeared and fight to keep the brain out of the hands of the enemy and to rescue their parents. Not everything goes to plan and it makes for a fun action movie.

A very stupid film.A TV presenter is kidnaping spies and turning them into characters for a children's programme. It's daft. But the kids quite liked it. I would have given it 1 star and they would have probably gone for a generous 4.

What an absolute treat. Loved Spy Kids as a child and as an adult I understand how flawless this film is. It should have won at least 3 oscars for its CGI.The thumb thumbs were the main characters in my nightmares as a kid so I still am creeped out by them.Floop's song also should have been nominated for best song in a film. Sorry "Shallow", you've been outdone.It's a must watch.

読み込みが遅いです。突然英語が聞こえてきたと思ったら途中で吹き替えがされていないシーンがありました。残念です。しかし内容はいくつになっても面白いと感じました。様々なスパイグッズは今観てもワクワクします。
