Didn't work for the purpose in which I purchased it for but we ended up keeping them for future and they have come in handy throughout the months here and there. The grips are nice and they are sturdy.

This is a great little tool to have around the house! It is light weight and the gripper isn’t overly tough to use. Easy to store and functions great with picking things up off the floor or grabbing from the top or shelves.

Had to use it temporarily. But works good. Longer than most (tall person friendly) and heavy duty compared to other ones I've seen.

The picker upper works on small things like picking up pills that have fallen, or getting small things off a shelf but this one is not made for heavy items. Such as grabbing s handicapped both made with metal.

This tool has been a life-saver for me in my recovery from major abdominal surgery. I do feel also, because I have gotten a bit spoiled to the ease and convenience of picking up things off of the floor, etc., I will continue to use it beyond my recovery time. I love the magnet on the end too, the ease of using hand griper handle and ability to fold it for storage and transport. This tool has been able to pick up an ice cube I dropped and a single grain of kitty litter, along with many other things!!! Therefore, I would highly recommend this very helpful tool for anyone. :)

Great value. Extra functions are a plus. Adjustable directional head with magnets strong enough to pick up a ring of keys.Grabber fork had textured grips for grabbing. Easily folds for storage.

My first order got stolen off my porch during the holiday season, but thankfully Amazon replaced it for me. I'm glad it all worked out, because this extended reach grabber is pretty awesome! It's well-made, foldable & has lots of handy features like the magnet & gripping function. I love that the hinges lock in place, because I've had other ones that will droop if you don't hold them a specific way. With the locking mechanisms, you can hold this grabber anywhich way & it'll stay firmly extended.As a bonus, I even found that if you want to unlock one or the other hinge in order to grab something that fell behind a piece of furniture or whatever, you can still control the gripping function even at that 90° angle due to the thin but strong cable running thru the pole segments. (Which is great for me, because my arm is too chunky & too short to reach behind stuff, but this grabber isn't!)

I ordered this grabber because I live alone and a box of sandwich baggies fell down behind the folding doors on my pantry shelves. It's light, which I appreciate at age 75. In order to get it to grip the item, however, i had to wrap rubber bands around the gripper pads on the end because the ridges are fairly hard plastic and don't have much grab to them. You could use rubber fingers maybe, as well. I haven't tried to lift anything heavier than the box of 40 baggies, which was very light. The magnet seems to be fairly strong and it kept attaching itself to the side of my refrigerated where I am storing it.
