Just what I needed
This window lock was ideal for our metal awning window. I needed a lock to replace one bought many years ago. Easy to use and apart from the key provided needs no other tools or skills.

When i saw the photo I thought 'Aha, maybe they would do to lock the sliding windows since I don't want to drill the frames and a purpose-made one (very similar) costs about £40'. So I bought a couple and with a bit of bulking out with a plastic block they work fine. Excellent
