Great Fabric
Beautiful shirting weight cotton. I ordered bright white and it was truly white and nice to work with. I will definitely order this fabric again.

picking up a couple more colors.
The material is100% cotton which is what I wanted. Very nicely pack and delivered very quick! These pieces were a decent thickness, excellent value too.

FYI: Can’t be used for char cloth.
Great fabric. High quality and soft. I just want people to know you can’t use it for making char cloth (for making fires with flint and steel) which is what I bought it for. It chars just fine but it leaves behind a serious residue and it won’t take a spark. I think it is starched at the factory which kills the reactivity. Go to Goodwill and buy some 100% cotton T-Shirts and use those for char cloth instead.

Just an ok quality fabric for embroidery projects
I bought this fabric for hand embroidery projects, specifically thread painting pet portraits. The quality is just ok. I honestly expected better from a big name brand like Singer. Value-wise it's just meh...not a rip off, but also not a great deal. In the end, I can definitely find less expensive test/backing fabric, so I probably wouldn't buy this again. Since you might want to use it for a different purpose, I'll walk through some of the pros and cons:Pros:- The color is as advertised. The white fabric I was sent was indeed a nice, bright white.- The large dimensions (off a bolt rather than pre-cut smaller pieces) mean you have a lot of flexibility in what you use the fabric for.- No flaws in the fabric. Consistent weave, density, and color throughout.Cons:- It's definitely thinner and lower thread count than I expected, which means it's pretty translucent and doesn't hold up to a dense thread painting/embroidery project. Instead I've been using it as a backing fabric or as a test fabric when I need to try things out.- Rougher than I thought it would be, probably bc of the low thread count. Even though it's 100% cotton, the hand feel is similar to a cheap cotton/polyester blend that you might find in a low-end bed sheet.- Paints, inks, markers bleed BADLY on this. Sometimes I do a painted background and I do swatching for many of my paints+thread to see how they perform on different fabrics and EVERYTHING bleeds on this fabric. Even the textile marker I use to label swatches bled to the point of being almost unreadable.

Fabric was top quality and no complaints

Color is perfectly white
Texture is smooth, weight about that of a good cotton and washes well—no iron.

Fabric color is cream not bright white
The color in the picture of Bright White looks greenish gray, but to my happy surprise the actual color is cream, which is exactly what I wanted. See picture Amazon fabric is on top and a pure white is below.
