Orchard Toys Animal Shapes Game

Bought for an 18 month old to start playing with. He absolutely loved these. Bright colours & clear pictures. Printed on both sides of the card. The jigsaw piece pops out on one side so we learnt ‘turn it over’. He loved popping the pieces out by holding the picture up in the air. Then we did ‘I can see you’ through the hole. He will get to using it like a jigsaw puzzle over time so plenty of games and fun before then. Orchards toys have great customer service to replace any pieces that get lost or damaged. A very sound buy.

This is a quiet game I do with my 2 year old when he needs some down time. We play in a variety of ways and he can easily match all of them now, so we've moved on to practicing colors and shapes with the pieces. Sometimes it's tricky for him to get the pieces to fit, but he's learned the key is to do it on a hard surface. He also loves making the sounds of the animals and is very proud of himself when he matches everything. My one complaint is the way it is cut means pieces don't fit very well unless the main piece and the missing piece have the same side facing up (if that makes sense?), so after my son punches out all of the pieces, I quickly flip them so everything has the same side facing up.

I really like the idea of this product but the shapes are really quite difficult to fit back into the animals? Myself and my 18month old struggle with it. I don't know how it could be improved but in general we love orchard toys...

Very colourful and kids really enjoyed doing this puzzle, good value for money, very sturdy

I bought this as a birthday present for a little girl who had just turned one. It is her favourite thing in the world and she plays with it many times a day!

Didnt think is was worth what i paid! Disappointed
