Works as I anticipated
I wanted to use these for my new cargo rack I got for my car. I ended up having to part ways with these because I gave away a couch to someone and I wanted to make sure they got home safe without the couch falling out. These came in clutch. Worked like traditional ratchet straps should. Held together well.Good ratcheting mechanism. Nylon felt dependable. Would recommend for someone just looking for two straps instead of a whole kit of four.

a nice set of ratchet-type tie-downs to have around; at a good price
Review of: GAITWIN - Endless Ratchet Tie Down Straps, 2 Pcs (1" x 20Ft)I consider tie-down straps, especially quality tie-down straps like the Gaitwin brands of straps, to be a critical component of my garage tools and an important item to carry around in the back of my car for emergency use.And while for many things the general-purpose “cam buckle” type of tie-down works okay, I’ve learned from experience that having a ratchet type of tie-down straps is invaluable when I really need to lash something down firmly. And lashing-something-down-firmly is what I’ve found that the Gaitwin tie-down straps do not just an okay job on but a really nice job on.In my uses of the tie-down straps, I found that the Nylon material is sturdy and strong while at the same time being flexible enough to conform nicely to whatever I’m strapping down. The 1-inch width of the strap is enough for most of the items that I can think of that I would want to use it on and, in what is a major plus for me, the full 20 foot length of the strap gives me plenty of length so a wide range of items can be securely tied down.Threading the nylon strap through the ratcheting mechanism is simple and easy to do even though I have discovered that the 20 foot length does take a little time to pull through the mechanism for those items that are on the smaller side.Once tightened up enough by hand to where the ratchet comes into play, I’ve found that the rubber-coated ratchet itself is relatively comfortable and easy to use. The up-down ratcheting movement with the handle does make it easy to tighten up the slack so that the object is held firmly; far more firmly than when using ‘cam-buckle’ type of tie-downs.And while I’ve found that it does take somewhat of an effort to really cinch the buckle tight using the ratchet it still isn’t like having to struggle to the point were the process counts as my daily gym work-out.The ratchet buckle works easily enough when the tie-down needs to pulled apart. And, for a 20-foot length of strap, the ratchet tie-down folds up into a small enough bundle that I’m able to easily store one (or two) in the back of my car.All-in-all, a nice set of ratchet-type tie-downs, especially with what I consider to be a good price, to have around for when they are needed.

Excellent Ratchet Straps
Most of the ratchet straps you see at hardware stores are the type with hooks at each end. Those are great for hooking into D-rings in the bed of a pickup truck or a utility trailer. But sometimes, you want to wrap a strap completely around an item and that's where these endless straps come in.These particular straps are simple and well made. The ratchet mechanisms are similar to many others and have a small plastic handle attached to the ratchet body. I've seen other straps where that handle is a lot bigger which looks more "heavy duty" but I find that those big handles just get in the way. The webbing on these straps is thick and substantial and there is a double "X-shaped" sewing pattern where the strap attaches to the ratchet mechanism. It's actually the most substantial stitching I've seen on 1-inch straps like these.Overall, these are great straps and are above average in quality in my opinion.

Too small to really be heavy duty, but good for price
Good quality. Seems like good straps for the price point. The ratchets and the straps would be a lot bigger if these were heavy duty like they claim, but these are good for typical ratchet straps that are under 20 bucks. They look like they will hold up well. I'm not going to dock a star for them claiming to be heavy duty, since they are not asking a price that would indicate they are heavy duty. They arrived in good condition and functional, didn't cut any corners I can see, they are just small/standard size, not meant for heavy loads.

Good sturdy, strong tie down straps
A good set of tie down straps to have when you need them. The nylon straps is pretty sturdy and the ratchet works well. It's not as smooth as others but perhaps it needs to be broken into for awhile. I like the plastic cover on the ratchet for an easier hold but the loosening clip could of used a cover or maybe longer tips design to make it easier to release. Had some trouble trying to unclip it to loosen. Overall, good set of tie down straps.
