Regalo Hide Away Bed Rail (135 x 50 cm)

This is a shockingly high quality product. Absolutely well build and sturdy! Only set back for me was my bed mattress is set down in the bed frame and this rail only works for beds without an inset frame. It would work best for a bed with a boxspring. But I made it work by taking off the two under bed arms and used only the rail. Still works great!

This safety frame is reasonably easy to put together, but what isn’t stated in the details of the item is that it is suited to a bed ensemble ie: base and mattress. Our bed has a wooden slatted frame and the frame sits on the slats which then causes the frame to be felt through the mattress. It wasn’t clear that they frame is best suited to one type of bed.

This is a very big bedside guard, which is fantastic for a king/queen sized bed. It fits almost the entire length of our King sized bed leaving maybe a foot or foot and a half of open space. Which, if it's positioned properly, isn't a problem with pillows etc. It has the ability to pop the latches on the side up and collapse the guard underneath the mattress if you don't wish to utilize it, which is nice, except with our beds sleigh style, it prevents that from happening because of the lip of wood that comes up the side of the bed. On a regular frame it would work nicely. Our bed also has a platform style with wooden slats to hold the mattress. This would work much better with a solid frame bottom, platform with a solid bottom, or a bed with a box spring to hold the under mattress legs. With ours we managed to place it onto the wooden slats enough to support it without it wiggling or sliding off but it does create a slight bump up in the mattress because of it. It is a bit cumbersome in putting together and the under mattress legs don't give a great explanation for assembly in the manual but otherwise this exactly what we needed to prevent our kids from falling off the edge when they get into bed with us.

This product was better than described and pictured!!! We have a full size slatted bed frame with no box spring for my two year old daughter and this product worked PERFECT!!! The pink color is so cute and went with her room theme which I didn’t even realize I purchased a color! The shipping was SUPER fast as it had said it would take about a week or so with regular (free shipping) and my product arrived in 3 days! Packaging was great and it was easy to assemble! It is so convenient because it folds and hides under the mattress! Absolutely invaluable! Thank you so much for a great product!!
