HP Deskjet 2633 All-in-One Printer, Instant Ink with 2 Months Trial

I have had HP Printers in the past and have not had any problems with them. Looking at the various models available on Amazon, I was attracted to this one because of the features It offers, number one being wi-fi operated. There is a USB cable if you prefer the 'old fashioned' way of linking the printer to your computer. Also included is one black and one coloured ink cartridges and is easy to set up. The paper I ordered came one day before the printer, so I was in business straight away. This is a very well constructed machine and is very cheap at the price. I am a casual user, so it will be fine for my purposes. I am in my eighties, and if I can set it up anyone can.Word of warning; trying to get refill ink cartridges for this model on Amazon is hard. Seem to be out of stock. You may have to buy elsewhere in the internet or in PC World.

With such a choice of printers I wasn't sure what to pick. However I'm very pleased with this printer. WiFi set up was slightly harder than I imagined but now got it all up and working. I enjoy the mobile app which means I can print at a touch of a button wirelessly. Print quality is great.

Print quality is ok and Instant Ink works. BUT, read BIG BUT here, the idea of making a smart printer if it's not properly executed is very bad.The software keeps updating itself and breaking the install. I had it for 3 months and twice already I had to spend a couple of hours trying to fix it.Last night I could only get it to work using the usb cable. No way of using the wifi. And I think it's because the IP changed. If you make an wifi printer it should sort the IP changes being transparent to users. I know I could get it back to the old IP using the router settings but that should not be needed.I could not even uninstall from my computer even after cleaning the queues and messing with the windows registry. HP Doctor did not help either.In my opinion a printer should be like a blender. You turn it on and it works... AND if it's not broken, do not mess with the software. I am very tech savy, been putting computers together since the beginning of the 90s and this printer is just not working for me.PIECE OF JUNK. I will be trashing mine as I do not think it's even worth selling it as I would feel sorry for the people buying it.

Good but the connection is slow sometimes and it only prints half of the page sometimes. Very good for the price.

Product arrived promptly, easy to set up and prints/scans well. Only gripe is that I have to use an HP desktop app to work it.

For the price this printer is a bargain!! I had absolutely no issues installing it at all, and was printing from my phone within 20 minutes. I'm not a techy person, but still found it very simple following the instructions through the app. I have only printed documents so far, so can't comment on the picture quality. My "free ink" arrived in 2 days of registering too! So far so good.

Replaced a rather elderly HP and is very similar to earlier models but with a refreshed design and built in wireless printing. The app, setup on Mac and config is pretty slick and printing output excellent for the price. Turning off instant ink is easy enough and unless you regularly print st home I can’t understand why you would allow your printer to disable itself if you print over a certain number of pages per month. Would otherwise recommend.
