'People ask me how I make music. I tell them I just step into it. It's like stepping into a river and joining the flow. Every moment in the river has its song. So, I stay in the moment and listen.' MICHAEL JACKSON (1958 - 2009) Dancing the Dream is one man's hauntingly beautiful, provocatively personal view of the world around us, and the universe within each of us. Whether his prose and poetry focused on creativity, the people that surrounded him, or the plight of the noble elephant, his observations and concerns all illustrated his belief that trust, love and faith are the foundation stones for a life well lived. Containing Michael Jackson's personal writings and over one hundred glorious photographs, drawings, and paintings from his own collection, this book is a must have for all fans of an incredible, inspiring man who died as he lived - dancing his dream. Review: Beautiful - ''I wrote a book called 'Dancing the Dream'. It was more autobiographical than 'Moonwalk', which I did with Mrs. Onassis. It wasn't full of gossip and scandal and all that trash that people write, so I don't think people paid much attention to it, but it came from my heart. It was esseys, thoughts and things that I've thought about while on tour'' (1992) Michael Jackson I don't feel I need to add anything else. Beautiful book, beautiful Michael and his spirit. Review: well worth the value - i like this book its made by the singen him self

Artistry For All Time
Michael Jackson's prose and poetry offer life lessons in making change for the world's healing. Michael spent his entire life in humanitarian efforts, in speaking out for social justice and change. HIs ability to bring people together and inspire them to work toward a better world is captured in the stories and poems in this book. I have quoted passages often. You do not have to be a Michael Jackson fan to understand the truths offered here. Without exception, I will tell you this is the most important book I have ever read. It has changed my life and the lives of many. I encourage everyone to have this book in their collection, and, I also believe it should be in libraries and schools worldwide.

I've been a fan of MJ since i was little and this book is a real treat for the hardcore MJ fans who cared about him as a person rather than a celebrity, he writes from the soul and you get to see something really special in this book as he shares heartfelt words and works of art in the forms of stories and poems. A true creative genius, we have lost a real special man, there will never be another Michael Jackson.

Beautiful book from a beautiful soul
You can't fail to be touched by this insight into the REAL Michael Jackson - not the media portrayal or should I say betrayal! Very deep, pure, sensitive, spiritual poetry and writings, written from the heart. Highlights for me include a poem dedicated to his beloved mother, also one that seems very autobiographical entitled Magical Child, both of which are so beautifully written you will have a tear in your eye! There seems to be a tinge of sadness coming through in this book which makes it all the more poignant now he is no longer with us. If you interested in this then you MUST also read Conspiracy by Aphrodite Jones, can't rate it highly enough.

A must-have book for MJ fans!
What a beautiful book!! If you, like me, are a fan of Michael Jackson for his music, but also for his concern about the welfare of the earth and humankind, you need to get this book. It's a wonderful insight into his mind, ideas and thoughts, which I appreciate so much more after reading through Michael's poems and stories. It has large full colour photos, some of which are rare. You won't be disappointed if you're an MJ fan!!! It's a must!!
