Djemila Medallion Blue is a classic Old World style updated with modern design elements. A traditional Persian medallion design is refreshed by a contemporary palette of deep blue and neutral beige with accents of yellow. The intricately detailed pattern is heavily distressed to give the faded quality of an antique passed down through generations. A thick 0.5" pile of heat set polypropylene gives an exceptional plush feel and precise pattern definition. The yarn is soft, stain resistant, and doesn't shed or fade over time. A 100% jute backing is safe for wood floors and all four sides of the rug are serged for improved durability.

NOT THE SIZE STATED
This is a nice rug BUT it is not the size stated. It is only 160cm X 100cm i.e. 20 cm or 8 inches narrower than stated. Disappointed, I can use it but not where I wanted to and not at that price.Update: The seller has contacted me, very speedily and we have agreed an acceptable solution. A shame about the size but very good response from the seller. I have upgraded the stars to reflect the quality of the rug, which is very nice.

Brilliant value for money
I actually love this rug! I ordered the wrong size and that's in me but it's still big enough and beautiful that I didn't bother buying a higher one and returning.Very soft! And adds a great splash of colour to the room.The dog has given it his stamp of approval too by rolling all over it...

vintage style persion rug
Ordered this rug for my sons library it is lovely and soft and looks fantastic, its a vintage style which means that some parts are paler than others as should be for this style, he loves this rug and would recommend. Five stars

Exceeded expectations came promptly and colours as described and illustrated in the photo.Viewed other similar turkish/persian rugs and this was by far and above the best value one with outstanding quality .Definitely would recommend this rug or similar from the same seller .Feels like I am back home in Turkey now .
