Levington Advance Pot & Bedding M3 Compost 75L

This was different from other composts I have purchased. It was rich dark brown in colour. The compost was like fine soil. There were no large lump of dry dull looking compost. The 75L bag will be enough to finish the pots and borders left to do. I shall be ordering this compost in the future as its good quality and good value.

This compost has really encouraged our plants to grow! Seems to be reasonable value for an online product.

I have been using this for many years as my go-to compost for growing tomatoes and other vegetables. It has always been superlatively good, fine-grained and free from extraneous (meaning non-peat!) matter. This most reacent batch is, as others have reviewed here, contaminated with a significant proportion of wood-chip or some other similar (straw or whatever) stuff like cheaper brands. I don't know if they are trying to cut costs or trying to appease the anti-peat hippy-green-freak brigade, but I am unimpressed and will be seeking a different premium brand.
