I spent a lot of time researching race car sets for my grandson's birthday and turns out I made the right choice. The track was easy to assemble, made of high-quality components, the cars race at variable speeds as controlled by the throttle grips, and most importantly my 3 yr. old grandson plays with it every time he comes over! Mission accomplished!

While taking it apart can be a bit challenging for my son, adults can easily do it. We appreciate the option to use either batteries or an AC adapter. Worked very well and the cars stayed on the track! My son and I had hours of fun with it! If setting it up on a rug, the cars may pickup lint and fibers on the bottom which can interfere with them working well. Keep the cars off the rug when they aren’t on the track. Would buy this again! Probably will get some more tracks too….

Got this for my grandson for Christmas and worked much better than he thought. The cars goe super fast and it’s exciting to watch them.

This is a toy that will keep kids off the electronic games for a long time.

The track works great with the cars racing fast the first few days, but eventually starts to slow down drastically despite being plugged in the wall. The metal part on the track starts to have black looking spots and the cars get stuck too often to be fun anymore. This has happened with 2 tracks. The company was nice enough to replace our first one that developed this problem, but the 2nd one is doing it too. It's too bad as it was fun to play with in the beginning.

Purchased this for my grandson for Christmas put it together and the 110 power adapter was bad, but we put in the AA battery's and it was off to the races. Cars are fast and stay on the track. Guard Rails are flimsy and pop off, every thing else is adequate for the money. I like the fact that it came with 4 cars in case one brakes. Contacted the manufacture about the transformer issue and they responded quickly, asked for a order number and a picture of the defective part. Received an e-mail that problem would be handled. To my surprise a complete race track was shipped. Great service good product lots of fun and would highly recommend this product. Grandfather tested and approved. Grandsons are 4 and 5.

This was a great find to relive my youth with my grandson. Track went together fairly well and though it sometimes separates, pieces are easy to put back together. Until I find a true HO set, this will do just fine.
