Makita XPH15ZB 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Sub-Compact Brushless Cordless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill, Tool Only, Black

Very nice tool if you are replacing one meets all the requirements, durability, value for the money , battery life ,size, power compatibility

Having owned at least 10 Makita driver/drills in the last 20 years, I can say these are best of all of them. They get used every day in a commercial woodshop for drilling and driving screws, and are a pleasure to use. They seem to have a more robust construction than previous models, which is great since we don't baby these tools.

Unable to use the product enough, as it was stolen along with my other tools and did not have the opportunity to use to give a proper review. Other tools ordered at the same time were also stolen. And this happened within the last few months. So disappointed as those tools were a necessity for the jobs that I do. You cannot install Windows properly without this tool and many others that are needed. I've only been able to replace one so far but maybe Santa will be good and I'll get the rest replaced by then!

Makita tools help my husband make a living. He has been a loyal customer for over 15 years after switching from dewalt. I am writing this review on his behalf. These tools have incredible longevity. This particular drill is replacing one that was 7 years old and used almost daily. My husband is a construction Foreman so he obviously needs good tools that can stand up to use but also be comfortable to use. I can even use this drill! It's lightweight even with the battery. It seems to be much more efficient as it lasts longer between charges than the drill it was replacing. Makita continues to impress us and we will continue to be Makita users.
