Seems to measure up
Got them for the class and they work just fine. Wood is a little soft, but students always abuse everything.

Great for giving as Christmas gifts
It might sound strange to give these wooden rulers as Christmas gifts, but I bought fifty to put in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christian Child shoeboxes which our church is sending. Of course, wooden rulers would be ignored by most kids in America (what with cell phones, computers, game controllers, etc), but in remote places around the world, kids have probably not even seen a wooden ruler much less get a shoebox full of toys, school supplies, and hygiene products. A great ministry. If you need more information to go Samaritan's Purse website.
