Seentech 279457 Dryer Heating Element Connecting Wire Kit - Compatible with Whirlpool, May-tag – Replaces : AP3134638, 279457VP, 3140, PS334206, and T2502

The wires to the heating element had gotten damaged due to an issue with mice. We had fixed it with a piece to a different kit picked up locally but it didn’t work and kept burning out. I purchased this and it has worked well and was easy to install.

This product worked great. The end of heating element wire in my dryer became damaged from overheating. I trimmed back the damaged portion of the wire, connected this connecting wire using the wire nut, and attached the end to the appropriate connection point. Dyer worked great afterward. Ended up being like a $6 repair instead of the ~$150 a repair tech would have charged.

Our dryer fried the hot wire off of the heating element. The connector is an odd large size not available at the local hardware store. These worked perfect - they have the proper connector and the extra wire made up what got burned off. Nice that it comes in a two pack. After initially replacing it burned off again which clued me into the male connector end on the heat exchanger to be the issue. After replacing the heat exchanger and swapping in my second end the problems solved!

Fits the wide spade, so far so good.

Expensive for what you get but these are non standard spade connectors made for appliances only. Most available elsewhere are 1/4 or 3/8 tab. These are 5/16 which I could not find at my electrical or automotive supply houses. They did fit the Samsung dryer

These were too short for the purpose they were designed and we had to splice them together to make it work. Not helpful. Probably should have ordered directly from parts place.

Dryer overheated and frayed the wires , these things really made it simple to repair.
