Q: Will this work with prescrition VR lenses?

From what I’ve looked into— prescription lenses rest on top of the headset lenses and have its own unique frame; like those made by VR Optician. This accessory is tailored fit to be installed directly on top of the headset lenses and will not fit alternative frames. You will need to remove your prescription lenses each time before you use this accessory.

Q: Does this effectively block out sunlight? So I could store the headset in front of a window?

Dear customer, this lens cap protects against external dust, dirt and damage. It also provides some protection against UV rays. However, we do not recommend that you place your PSVR2 in front of a window for this reason. Intense sunlight will accelerate the deterioration of other areas of the device.
