Eveready x2 16w 2D Square 4-Pin GR10q Cap Standard White (3500k) Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 16 W

Currently doing the job I need it to at a good price. Same item a fair bit more expensive from B&Q. It replaced one that was only 2 years old so guess we'll see how long this actually lasts for.UPDATE: Well, been in less than 1 year and had to replace. The regular bulb on landing that was in before I moved in, and is used more, lasted longer. Hmmm...Feb 2016 - Jan 2017 for the '10,000' hour bulb or Jun 2014 - Jan 2017 for the bog standard, non energy saving?? Go figure, know which I'll be buying in the future. Think I may try a more expensive one first though and see if that actually does make a difference.The bulbs work fine and are easy to install, they just do NOT last for the length of time given...buyer beware.

I have two problems to report with this item. First, I was not sent Eveready lamps, but Hispec branded ones. Second is the fact the bulb I have just replaced lasted about a year, even though the packaging claims that they should last for 10,000 hours each. We use them as bathroom night lights and, even at an average usage of 12 hours per night, they should be good for more than two years each. I don't know how bulb manufacturers keep getting away with it. If they claimed a life of 4,000 hours and the lamps lasted for 4,500, which is about what this one did, we'd be more than happy; but 10,000 hours? No way! I'm still going to buy some more though, because it is much more convenient than going shopping and Amazon's service is always outstanding in my experience.

I ordered this bulb for my kitchen as the previous light had blown, this item arrived on time and was very easy to install. It was also packaged well to avoid any damages during transit. The light emitted is very bright and would recommend

Second time I have bought these. First order, 2 years ago, contained 1050 Lumen lamps as specified. Second , recent order contained 900 Lumen, below the specified value. So not as bright as they should be, hence only 3 stars. If you only want 900 Lumen then these are fine.

There's not much feedback to give a lightbulb, but I'm pleased that it worked upon arrival. The actual delivery time was a lot longer than I had anticipated, so there are improvements that could be made here. Other than that, I am happy with the product.

The product came early and my friend was delighted with it. He was also pleased that the order supported Diabetes Uk as we are both diabetics

Item listing at the time of purchase did not match the picture. Picture said 2 pins, description didn't say so I assumed they were 2 pins from the picture.They weren't, they were 4 pins, and the bulbs did not fit. Shame.
