Head-to-head comparison of weekly pill containers
I have been using this brand for over 5 years and ordered one (or two) of most of the brands available on this website to see is there was something better. My experience was similar to that of most of the other reviewers on this website. This brand met my needs better than any other brand. 1. The lids fit firmly but not too tightly. Some brands require a pair of pliers to open them, once they are closed. Others do not close easily and the pills are in danger of popping out during closure. 2. The lids come down securely over the sides of the pill compartment without a gap. Some other brands leave an 1/8 inch gap that allows pills in the neighboring compartments to slide from compartment to compartment. This is a real problem if you take the container holding your pills in a carry on or suitcase. 3. Easy to fill. The colored covers slide out so that the compartments can be filled and then slide back in to cover the compartments. 4. Easy to clean. Again, the set of covers, (AM, PM) slide out easily and the three parts cleaned and dried in the upper self of an automatic dish washer. 5. Durable. I began a search because the SAT PM compartment lid broke off after I had used the organizer for over 5 years. I wanted to see if there was something better on the market. 5. Well worth the additional $1 or $2 over the cost of cheaper brands.

Very nice design for a 1-week day/night container
Amazon had many containers from which to choose, but after reading all the reviews, this one looked closest to my needs. I wanted 1 week, day/night and a size that would easily hold the 7 pills I take each day. My old one that lasted about 10 years had finally broken. One of the living hinges on the cover for one of the days had broken. This one matched the prior case closely in design, except that the day/night containers are color coded blue/yellow (nice improvement), and the lids for the 7 days and for the 7 nights are each mounted on a separate plastic bar so they can easily lift out. This exposes all the containers for easy loading and avoids having to forcefully bend back all the lids for easy refilling access. Nice feature. Also, though one reviewer found the rounded front edge of the bottom of each container a problem, apparently, he accidentally rolled his case and spilled the contents, I like that feature since I can more easily extract the pills each day. Another reviewer commented that the lids do not snap shut tightly enough and can open if the unit is in a suitcase perhaps on a trip. That is true. They are snug, but I would like a more secure snap fit. As with my old one, I will wrap a rubber band around the day and around the night compartments when I travel for extra security. The one thing I canโt speak to is the durability of the living hinges. I guess time will tell.

Hard to find elsewhere, a few problems though
Alright, these twice daily pill boxes are harder to find than they should be. So you're kind of stuck with whatever you find, but there are good things and bad about this box. Pros: Two different colors; makes it harder to mess up your AM and PM. Durable plastic; have been using it for over a year and no problems. Large; bigger than you expect, hold many pills including those big ones. Cons: Look closely, the PM days go from right to left. This seems backwards to me, it's oppisite of how we read and also from the AM side. This has taken A LOT of getting used to and caused frequent problems. I still forget sometimes. Writing fades. I guess this happens with every case though. All that said, I'm still using it because I can't find anything else to acomidate my pills (usually at least 5 each dose, two of which are large). I think at this point if I found one that went the "right" way, I'd probably have an even harder time remembering. Update: One of the doors has finally started to fall off. I have it held on now by a couple of pieces of athletic tape. So with daily use, mine lasted about a year and a half.

Been using one like this for 10 years.
I've been using a pill sorter like this one for about ten years until one of the doors finally broke off when I dropped it. That's pretty good for plastic, which is not going to last forever, of course. The new one I just received is just like my old one, except they have made the am and pm sides two different colors now, which is an improvement which helps me make sure to take the correct pills at the right time of the day. Nice. When I first got it some of the doors needed filing. When I opened some of the doors, their neighbors would open, too. This was very easily solved in two minutes. I used a nail file on the sides of the problem doors, and they now work perfectly. To answer some of the other reviewers concerns.... 1. I just took a train trip with my pills, and no, the pills did not spill. I traveled with my old one many, many times, and did not have problems with spilled pills. 2. The reviewer who mentioned the lack of enough plastic dividing the am and pm sections made sense to me, until I looked at my old one and saw that it was exactly the same, and I really did not have trouble with my am pills drifting over to the pm side. I take nine kinds of pills, so it's not that my compartments aren't full. 3. One person complained that the PM days are not in the correct order. This is so your am and pm pills are next to each other. You wouldn't want your am Sunday pills at one end and your PM Sunday pills at the other. end. It would be much more confusing when you fill the sorter if the day's compartments were not together. This is a good product, especially for the price.

Garbage - not fit for purpose
Lids do not snap closed and pills just fall out. Not returnable and just a rip off.

Essential for Serious Athletes
I take my athletic training very seriously, and managing my supplements and medications accurately is crucial. This is why I opted for the Apex weekly pill organizer, purchased a few months ago. I expected impeccable organization and ease of use on a daily basis from it. This pill organizer stands out for its ingenious design. It is divided into 14 compartments (morning and evening) for the whole week, allowing precise organization of my supplements. Compact and robust, it fits easily into a sports bag. Each compartment opens and closes easily, providing security against accidental openings. What I liked : - Clarity of markings for each day of the week. - The size of the compartments, sufficient for my different tablets. - The strength of the pill box, resistant to daily use. What I liked less : - Sometimes the compartments are a little difficult to open, especially with wet hands after training. Overall, the Apex pill organizer meets my needs well. It keeps my supplements organized, which is essential for my sports regime. Its durability is also a strong point. Benefits : - Clear and efficient organization. - Durability and reliability. - Suitable and transportable size. Disadvantages: - Opening compartments sometimes difficult. Compared to other pill dispensers, the Apex stands out for its robustness and clarity of organization. Some competitors may offer larger compartments, but at the cost of portability. - Be sure to close each compartment securely to prevent accidental opening. - Use additional labeling if you have specific needs for certain days. The Pill Organizer is a great choice for serious exercisers. It combines functionality, durability and ease of use. Although it has some small flaws, its benefits far outweigh it. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to effectively manage their supplement routine.
