Dairy-free daughter loved this calendar

My kids who don’t have dairy were so happy with their first ever chocolate calendar. As always divine makes amazing chocolate and we love the little bits of info about nature and animals in each window.

Chocolate is very rich and dark and if you're into very rich and dark chocolate then that's great. I place myself in this category and therefore I was sufficiently satisfied with the flavour. The only part of this product I take issue with is the facts inside each door. They're just so consistently humourless and depressing. This is meant to be an uplifting gift at a time of year for joy. It's a vegan, fair trade calendar, meaning that the owner is most likely onboard with the general environmentalist, ethical messages and doesn't need reminding when they're trying to enjoy a Christmas morning with some rich and dark chocolate.

Delicious chocolates.. My wife loved them.Some dark chocolate can taste bitter.. These certainly don't😋

I can't say the chocolate is anything special tbh.It should retail for about £5 (as it does in all supermarkets) and is realistically just a dark chocolate calendar so should be Vegan by default (although not necessarily fair-trade).It's January now and I still have a few windows unopened...

My young daughter was twice disappointed so far (on the 3rd and 10th of Dec.) when she opened the 'door' and found no chocolate behind it!!:(( Did anyone have similar 'bad luck'? The plastic behind doesn't have any dint, as if there's no space for the chocolate piece. I wonder if this is intended or is actually a manufacturing fault.
