HPOfficeJet Pro 6230 Inkjet Printer (29 ppm, 600 x 1200 dpi, Wi-Fi, Mobile Printing, USB, Ethernet)

I had this Printer up and running the day after delivery. It was easy to install took half hour at the most. It has a good Print quality. Easy to install inks too. The only down side is that it wasn't an All-In-One Printer, Copier, Scanner which I was used to. Never the less this Printer does its stuff.

Good value printer for the price mark however for me it lost a star due to the size of the unit considering there is no scanner built in. I have an older HP with scanner that has a smaller footprint than this one. Otherwise print quality is good and speed is not too bad, for a budget printer without scanner option this does the job. Also worth looking out for cashback offers from HP.

Between Amazon and other sellers, this has consistently been north of £75, often going a fair bit higher, so when it dropped to £57 it was worth a punt. It's not until you have a printer again that you realise the benefits and what with working from home and not having been into the office for a year; asking neighbours to print and pop through the door gets a little tiring, let alone feeling like you are relying on them.Item was delivered, package open and in under 10 minutes the test sheet was printed. Using my macbook it was simply a case of visiting the designated URL, opening the file, selecting wireless network and clicking complete.There was a minor issue, however, in that it initially connects to the printer to 'send your wifi details' to it, but then the software gives an error as it appeared my macbook didn't automatically switch back to the home wifi and remained connected to the temporary printer network; in my case I simply closed and re-opened the app and it was sorted. This may not be the case for everyone but worth a heads up to save the head scratching.Printing is fast. You don't need any software installed, simply 'add printer' in OSX or Windows; or if you are using an iOS device click print and it is picked up immediately using AirPrint.Neat device, slightly larger than expected for a printer and not an all-in-one but it's slim and unobtrusive.

I bought this on 21/9/2016 with really limited use (I have not yet finished one pack of A4 papers (equal to 500 papers))Problems I faced with:- Cyan color is not printing any longer. Don't advise me to follow troubleshooting, manual etc as I have already done all cleaning processes and necessary steps including buying new original ink as I always do anyway. I studied most of HP online forums of users inquiries/complains (with no one from HP answering their questions!)- The printer connected to the network is OK however the setup process is unnecessarily too complicated for a home user.- Within this period I bought two normal and one XL cartridges. I have bought three XL size color (C, Y, M) and one more time I bought three normal color cartridges just last week before sending this review post.All in all, I could say I failed in buying a reliable printer and I would not recommend this printer to anyone else.If HP values customers then they better get in touch because I would never purchase any other HP products until they satisfy me.

We have this for couple of months now and we are very happy with it. It sais connected and plugged in at all the times and we are printing wireless from either laptos or phones. We found that it prins much slower when printing from a smartphone and very quick when from a laptop. I also think it is much quieter that our previous HP printer.

The printer was fiddly to set up but now that is, it works very well. After the first connection with a computer, which was not too messy, further connections were very awkward - typical of HP's software output.

Excellent little printer, replaced our 20 year old Officejet 940C. I particularly like the excellent, sharp reproduction and the fact that you can automaticall duplex (double sides) and use draft, which is still excellent quality, thus saving ink. Amazingly inexpensive for such a quality item.

In many ways this is a lovely bit of kit. It is quick, it is quiet, it produces sharp and clear print-outs. I'd like it to have an easily usable sheet-feed bypass, but you can't have everything.BUT...If you paste an image into a Word document, you can format it carefully on the page, check with Print Preview, and then the HP printer will cheerfully crop an inch or so off the side of the image.You can get round the problem once you know it exists by using Google Docs instead, from which the HP will print quite happily. But why should you have to? It is apparent from various online sites that people have been complaining about this for about seven years and getting constantly fobbed off by HP. "Oh, it's a problem with Word". No it isn't, HP - it is YOUR job to ensure that what appears as the Print Preview ends up on the page.

Mein "alter" Tintenstrahldrucker Canon Pixma IP 7520 hatte leider nach Jahren guter Arbeit plötzlich versagt - sprich, war kaputt. Es musste also ein Ersatz her, den Canon gab es so nicht mehr und auch in der Preisklasse war auf Grund Lieferkettenproblem so schnell nichts zu finden. Dann, ach zwei Tagen hier bei Amazon war dieser Drucker verfügbar und landete im Warenkorb.Einrichtung und Installation ohne Probleme, wird von Windows erkannt und so konte es losgehen. Von den Abmessunger her unterscheidet dieser sich kaum von meinem Vorgänger und auch dieser Drucker lässt sich leicht bedienen. Unterschied zum "alten" Drucker: Dieser verfügte über zwei schwarze Tintenpatronen, dieser hier über eine - da wird dann mal eher nachbestellt werden müssen.Dann zum Druck: Er druckt in sehr guter Qualität, sowhl auf Normalpapier als auch auf Fotopapier und er druckt verdammt schnell, also wirklich schnell auch in der Einstellung "Sehr gute Qualität". Nach den ersten Tagen kann ich nichts negatives berichten und dieser Drucker ist für seine Preisklasse wirklich gut.

Ho acquistato questa stampante tra le offerte Amazon Warehouse Deals a un prezzo davvero ottimo (era un prodotto da esposizione usato pochissimo e come nuovo). Mi è stato pure offerto un ulteriore sconto poiché mancava il cavo di alimentazione, che comunque è di una tipologia molto comune.L'installazione è stata abbastanza agevole. L'ho collegata tramite USB, poiché avevo già il cavo pronto della stampante precedente, ma si può facilmente installarla tramite cavo ethernet o wi-fi. Tramite USB il PC (Windows 7) l'ha subito riconosciuta e ha installato i driver autonomamente tramite Windows Update senza che io abbia dovuto fare nient'altro.Per la gestione della prova di stampa, dell'allineamento delle testine (che comunque avviene in automatico alla prima accensione con delle cartucce nuove) e della pulizia delle testine consiglio di scaricare il programmino gratuito HP Print and Doctor Scan.La stampante è abbastanza grande, ma anche perché presenta un comodo e capiente cassetto per la carta, la quale quindi non è visibile e non occupa inutilmente spazio. La stampa è molto rapida e silenziosa, e di ottima qualità. La stampante inoltre esegue la stampa in fronte e retro in maniera automatica, senza dover girare manualmente il foglio.È perfetta per la stampa di documenti di molte pagine in fronte e retro, con o senza immagini colorate, ma con la carta fotografica dà buoni risultati anche per la stampa delle foto.
