Good Case, Bad Alignment and Nonexistent Customer Service
I purchased this case for my iPad Air. This is my first tablet; I have no experience with other cases so I can't compare it to others. However, this case appears to be sturdily constructed. The folds along the cover neatly hold the iPad up at a good viewing angle. The interior material is soft and I feel confident it will not lead to scratches or smudges on the iPad.When fitted around the iPad the case appears to be barely holding the tablet. It is a snug fit so it won't come off but I was expecting the edges and corners to more fully cover the edges. This way you can see more of the tablet, I just was expecting it to look more secure. The silver trim around my iPad is exposed and not covered by the edges of the case. This is especially prevalent around the corners of the case, which can be seen even with the cover closed. The alignment of the case appears to be pretty accurate, leaving proper room for the speaker grill, volume / power buttons, camera lens, and both microphones. There is one fairly egregious misalignment (not sure if I can call it that), which is with the headphone jack. I am unable to plug headphones into the jack because the case is in the way. Specifically, the small amount of material between the jack and the lip around the front of the iPad is preventing me from plugging in headphones. The case material is thick (generally a good thing) meaning I cannot forcibly insert the headphone plug into the jack for fear of damaging the iPad. I've ensured that my iPad is fully inserted into the case and I still cannot connect headphones. I've thought about taking a razor blade to the material in an effort to open up enough of a gap for the headphones but 1.) there's very limited material there and I'm concerned about reducing the snug fit of the case (especially since this is right next to a corner), 2.) cutting into the sealed material may lead to fraying and cause the case to fail early, and 3.) as a consumer I should not have to take a razor blade to a product to make it work.I've attempted to contact Invellop and explain the situation but I have received no response (as of the posting of this review I have been trying to contact them for one week). I have found it impossible to contact this company and I've determined that if you have an issue, it will not likely be resolved with their customer service. I'm unsure of whether or not to return the case because overall it feels nice and sturdy. I think that it will adequately protect my iPad and it looks good too. However, the ability to listen to media through headphones is important and there is simply no way on my end to work around the misalignment issue.Originally 5 stars for the case-1 star for the important misalignment-1 star for lack of customer service

Freaking great!
I was torn between buying this or the Photive smart case. I ended up getting this because the INVELLOP pictures showed that all the correct cutouts for the microphones are present. Unfortunately, Photive's display pictures do not show this. I posted a question and people answered that all the cutouts are there, but by the time they answered, I already bought the INVELLOPIs great for these reasons:Fit and functionality: Fits like glove and slim while providing good protection. I don't know what you are doing with your iPad if you need more protection than what this case offers (maybe if you travel with it a ton, play frisbee with it, or if you are a kid). Mine is at home mostly, and I occasionally take it out of the house to work on it, which is usually at a coffee shop or a similar environment.Quality: Made well in terms of quality. For the money, I cannot expect anything more. I have the black case, and the leatherette looks pretty good, not cheesy. I would be scared to get a colored case however, the leatherette paired with a bright color may look a little cheesy. I will say that I would like to see what the Photive case looks like in person, I have their slim iPhone case and it is sexy.Price: Freaking great. Great price for what you get. I was thinking about getting the Apple Smart Case, but I did not feel like dropping the $100. I have seen the Apple case in person, and it is VERY nice, don't get me wrong. I know that the Apple case will offer a little more protection and the real leather is awesome, but again, I did not want to drop that much money at this time. One possible thing I would like to see different is how the horizontal position sits. I had the original iPad and the Apple case that for that model, and I LOVED how the iPad sat in for typing. I feel that this sits a little to flat. I would say that this case could be a little more lap friendly; unless you are at a table, you may not absolutely love the horizontal stance of this case. Don't get me wrong, this case is awesome, and the positioning is not so bad that it is a deal breaker, but I feel that it could be better. If you are looking for a good case, you found it. I also know that Photive makes GREAT products, so you could also try that. I would buy this again, but if I knew that the Photive case had all the cut outs before I got the INVELLOP case, I probably would have went with Photive. This is a great case.
