This set has more than the other sushi kits out there and the price is great.I've been using this set as a complete beginner and found that sushi-making is easier than you would think. Don't get me wrong, mastering the art could take a lifetime. Although I made a sushi roll on my first attempt. This kit made it possible.As far as the variety of tools, I've used almost every item and made each type and they all work great. It even comes with instructions on how to use everything included in the kit. Of course, your cooking and prep on the rice is going to affect the outcome with each of the tools; and there are traditional methods to make each type and structure. Regardless this kit is still wonderful for learning and produces great results.

The media could not be loaded. Affordable, high quality, everything you need for a fun date night idea! We tried to get adventurous with the different shapes and that will definitely take some practice, but the basic rolls are SO EASY using the tools included.

So simple to use and with a couple of attempts I felt like I got ‘restaurant grade’ homemade sushi. A must for the sushi lover on a budget!! Price is incredible for what you get and the quality is fantastic. Easy to clean as it is dishwasher safe.

The plastic feels super cheaply made on this, and I'm afraid the knife is going to take a chunk out of the plastic mold it every time I use it. I'm still trying to get a good quality roll made with this, but am willing to assume that it is my fault because generally it comes down to the rice sticking too much... which is usually because you're not prepping the rice properly. One star deducted for now for build quality; I may come back and revise my opinion upwards if things work well in the future (or downwards, if parts start actually failing next time I try to use them).
