Brilliant
This gimbal is excellent, I've paid a lot more money for one before. This is excellent value for money. Easily recommended.2nd part review after using for a while. One annoying thing, the up and down motion is short and a bit stiff and doesn't lock on easily.

Might be a great price but it's not great quality
As this is a high-ish priced item, I was mildly surprised when this didn't arrive in the usual amazon box.Instead it came in it's own packaging, but if that saves the planet I'm cool with that. However, I'm not so cool if that packaging arrives open, which is what happened with this one.Fortunately all the parts where inside, but I don't know if anything like instructions or warranty cards might be missing. Though I could see a little compass loose inside the box. I'm not sure why this has a compass, but I can see from the product images it should sit inside the top part of the arm.Not broken into two parts inside the box and leaving the top swing arm bolt exposed. While that didn't make me feel good, I figured it's only cosmetic. It's not something that should affect product useability in anyway.Plus I only paid £42 for this, around 1/2 the price of many similar items. So maybe my bargain price meant I'd got a less than quality product. A feeling that only increased when I also noticed the swinging arm alignment. The swinging arm is not very well aligned with the vertical bar. Though once again, I figured maybe I could workaround the misalignment issue. Perhaps by twisting the lens on it's supporting ring to compensate for that issue. Then I realised that's not an ideal solution, mainly because the camera would also be twisted. Which could result in images where the horizon line isn't perfectly straight. That being one of the very reasons for buying a gimbal mount! Especially if this was ever used for video. But I don't like to just give up, so I added the small sliding bar to the swinging arm. Finding that the sliding bar could move freely up and down the swinging arm. Next I added my Sigma 150-500 to the sliding bar, finding that fitted perfectly. With just several twists of the bolt needed to hold the lens securely in place. Plus I could easily adjust the sliding bar height and quickly centre the lens. Thus I started to feel a little bit better about this. Until I noticed the swing arm can't swing freely. It doesn't matter if you release the control knob or not, the swinging arm is beyond stiff. In fact so stiff you actually have to push hard on the camera to make the swing arm move.Something that's not good for several reasons. Firstly, you could accidentally push the camera & tripod over and damage your equipment. Secondly, because there's no smooth fast movement, you'd easily miss loads of shots. Which was the final straw for me. So the whole kit was reboxed and returned to amazon for a refund.

Very heavy and adjustments too stiff
Not much to like when it is simply to stiff to use. The knobs were hard to turn and even when taken out the movement was not easyReturning to Amazon

360°Gimbal Head
This is a very sturdy capable gimbal head I use with my Sony a7iv with 200-600mm lens. Easy maneuverability. Great value for money.

Slightly wonky
This gimbal head is slightly wonky which is quite noticeable when the camera and lens are mounted - when I looked at the product photos I can see it on there now. I have to compensate by adjusting a leg on the tripod but it's not a big deal for me as I only use it occasionally (on the desk in bird hides). Provides smooth movement when tracking birds.

Great value
Don't use very often just for hides so no point spending more money than this, works great solid and smooth

Defective ?
It was so stiff that it didn’t function as a gimbal. The arm holding the camera was not parallel to the main body which might have caused the problem.

Value
I can't believe how good this gimbal is. With lots of other costing much, much more I wasn't sure what it would be like but it balances and hold in any position my D500 with 150-600mm lens and very easy and smooth to move.

It works but no typical.
Looks nice, seems sturdy, but does not sit level when mounted on tripod, used a monopod to compensate for the off tilt. But can’t do much about the inconsistent rotational axis’s. Smooth on some parts but more tension in other parts.

Fungerar javisst men.
Det är ingen skön känsla i den som de dyrare gimbalhuvuden men man får vad man betalar för. Fungerar för mig som har den på min backup kamera med ett mellan långt teleobjektiv. Men inget för den mer kräsna fotografen.

Molto buono
Prodotto per me, molto buono, soprattutto come qualità prezzo! Robusto e non eccessivamente pesante. Sono molto soddisfatto.

Well this is not a Gimbal! Suprise its a light stand! Wow Thanks!
I ordered one of these before and received it with no problem. Like an Idiot, I decided to purchase a second one; big mistake. I received the package, and I knew immediately that my plans for the second Gimbal on my trip was a fantasy (I was sent a light stand instead). I guess that I owe an apology to you guys for sending me a freaking light stand. Spend the few extra dollars and purchase it from another manufacturer; the product is not built well and lacks the ergonomics of the nicer models.

You get what you pay for.
It doesn't move smoothly at all. Maybe if you take it apart and put better grease in it.
