EDIT: I found the written instructions- I have returned this company their rightful star as it was my own fault I didn't find them until after cleanup! Good quality for the money, exactly as pictured! In a small space, this little coffee table is a must for storage! I was a little worried about the stability when putting it together, but now that I've got it all in one piece it seems very sturdy! The color was exactly as pictured, and its the perfect height to use as a desk while sitting on the couch, a must for an artist and manager like me that lives in a one bedroom with multiple cats and a partner- that way I can swap between couch potato and office mode quickly! Minus a star for having the worst instructions ever. I had to google the instruction video as it has no written instructions, and it was so grainy and small I made several mistakes trying to follow them along because i couldn't see which way pieces were flipped! Thank god I had power tools as well- it comes with a screwdriver but my hands hurt so bad from trying to use that at first lol. Overall, solid purchase but my husband will most definitely be the next victim if we find something else from this company we want lol!

THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!! I bought 2 and just finished putting the first one together. I put the top on backwards, but it was a quick fix. There should be no gap - if there is one, you put the top on wrong. I looooooove this table. I am so happy I bought 2. It is heavy which is great! It is sturdy which is great. My living room is long 30ft by 20ft and these fit perfectly in front of the two couches (which came from Amazon as well). The storage inside is uh-AMAZING. Two hands to pull up - one hand to push down. The mechanism is smooth and quiet and easy. I am so excited for this furniture!!!! And the surface of the tabletop is way bigger than I thought. I love it!

I love this however there is a gap when you close it so you can see in the storage area. Keep this in mind if you want one that closes all the way. Very cute and functional but also very flimsy. I'm not disappointed with the flimsyness because the price is reasonable but don't get this if you expect it to last.

This thing is great. It works great for eating dinner at the couch and using a mouse and keyboard if you have a pc hooked up to your TV. I don’t know about the other reviews saying this was difficult to put together, I would say they are clearly wrong. The instructions are super clear and the only reason I could see someone struggling is if they have never successfully put together any furniture in their life. It’s a very simple and straightforward design. If put together correctly and making sure all the nuts and bolts are tight, this table feels very sturdy. I would recommend this table to anyone who is looking for something of this nature.

Very flumsy. Only used it to open and close for the first two months.Now just use it as a normal table

I bought this in September. It was difficult to put together and some of the pieces are not the right fit so it's constantly falling apart (separating) when the top is lifted. I have to constantly twist the inside pieces whenever it's lifted and this started just 3 months after purchase. However it works and I don't have to eat on the floor.

Love this coffee table. Instructions were easy to follow. Lots of storage space, easy to move nice color. Wish I had purchased this several years ago. It's recommended to have 2 people to assemble this, however, I was able to put ot together myself in about 45 minutes I did get the top lid backwards and had to remove that one and turn it around. Thats the part where 2 people would have really helped, but i was finally able to get it righted, so double check the fit before you tighten all the screws. Two tools are provided. Wrench and small Phillips screwdriver. If you have access to an electric screwdriver, definitely use that one. The top lid/cover seems like it could hold a decent weight (1/2" solid wood) The inner shelf (flimsy board like material <1/4" )shouldn't be used for heavier items though.

Everything was perfect. All the parts to set up the table were there as well. It looks exactly like in the photos and it is easy to use. The only thing is that I will have to let my boyfriend screw in some of the screws tighter because my hands are small lol. 10/10. No complaints here. When setting it up, just take your time and listen to some music. It took me about three hours because I'm small and I was the only one doing it at the moment.
