KENWOOD, AX550 Glass Mixing Bowl for kMix Stand Mixers

The bowl arrived ( hand delivered by a lovely lady who had revived it in error . The seller was lovely they tried really hard to reunite the bowl after the mishap .The bowl is great , the original was damaged during a move so it was treat for myself .Would highly recommend this seller they were great .

As you would expect from Kenwood this is a quality product, It is good quality thick glass and as a result it is quite heavy. A full bowl may be a bit heavy for some with limited movement in wrists or hands.

I have now had two broken plastic rings from the base of the glass bowl which holds the bowl in to place in the base of the mixer. Dreadful design, surely a rubber material would make much more sense?!A real shame as the mixer looks great and is smooth running and not too loud on the occasion when the bowl sat in place. A lot of money to pay for poor quality and thought out product.

Excellent thick wall section, came complete with plastic ring around base for fitting into kMix (ours had split). Always useful to have a spare.

I'd give it five stars for the bowl as a whole, but the price stops me. £60 for a glass bowl is a bit steep, especially when you can only get the Kenwood branded one. Having said that, the bowl itself is very good quality, thick and substantial. If you have weak wrists or struggle to lift things, I'd advise you at the metal one which is much lighter. I personally prefer the glass one as I can see when things are mixed easily etc. It comes with the clip for the bottom to fit it into the base of the k-mix and comes in a nice box

l'ho pagato 71.33 pensandoci e ripensandoci visto l'investimento già fatto per la kmix! :-D la coppa è di un bel vetro doppio (infatti è anche pesante), ha le tacche per misurare i litri ed è molto utile per vedere dall'esterno il fondo dell'impasto.l'aggancio all'impastatrice è fatto con un anello di plastica. STRINGETELO BENE PRIMA DI METTERE LA COPPA NELL'IMPASTATRICE!!!prima di usarla l'ho lavata e ho anche svitato l'anello in plastica per lavarlo. l'ho riavvitato e ho usato l'impastatrice e poi non riuscivo più a estrarre il cestello perché l'anello si era incastrato! che incubo! ho pensato che non l'avevo riavvitato abbastanza stretto e così ho ruotato la ciotola in senso orario (per farla incastrare meglio nell'anello e sperando che non si incastrasse meglio nell'impastatrice!) e voilà è venuto via tutto per bene! inoltre da quel giorno non incastro più la coppa nell'impastatrice, tanto è abbastanza pesante da essere stabile anche se non è completamente avvitata.

Se me cayó la batidora kmix al suelo por la inercia y porque la deje mal colocada y se me partió el bol que de cristal que tenía. Me lleve tal disgusto que estuve a punto de comprar un bol de acero en vez de cristal, pero al final me decidí de nuevo por el de cristal porque me parece mucho más bonito. Es un bol duro, de cristal gordo y diseño muy bonito pero si se cae al suelo se rompe como cualquier otro. Este es exactamente igual al que venía con la batidora. Perfecto.

Ich halte diese Glasschüssel für eine ideale Ergänzung zum mitgelieferten Zubehör, so habe ich Platz für zwei verschiedene Rühraktionen, ohne zwischendurch umfüllen und abwaschen zu müssen.Diese Schüssel passt gut mit der KMX 98 zusammen, deshalb denke ich, dass sie bei allen KMX-Modellen passen wird, da die Nummer am Ende nur die Farbe beziffert.Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass die Einstellungen der Knethaken für die originale Edelstahlschüssel unverändert auch bei dieser Glasschüssel passen.

Ci sono arrivato da solo a capire che un solo contenitore non mi sarebbe bastato ed il secondo aggiunto mi ha facilitato la vita e l'organizzazione lavori in cucina. Esempio: sbatti le uova unisci lo zucchero e a parte monta gli albumi. In uno una cosa nell'altro… altro. Per colei o colui che si appresta all'acquisto prenderei direttamente anche un secondo complemento.
