Perfect for the kitchen.
My husband says it was east to set up - I’m not technically minded! It has a great picture and sound equality and takes up little space on the work surface, underneath one of the kitchen wall cupboards. It stands on four short legs so when standing as it should, the screen is well below eye level, making the picture look quite dark.To overcome this, I can balance it on its two 'back legs' to give a great picture. It’s very easy to change channels , and quickly.Great value for money and I hope it will last a long time.

An acceptable occasional telly for a small room.
We wanted a small TV for a small bedroom that will get limited use first thing in the morning and maybe last thing at night. The set will do fine for that.Tuning is easy once you get the hang of it - the user guide was poor quality and not especially helpful, but the process is fairly intuitive if you've done it before with other sets. RCA needs to work on their manual and on their digital TV Guide - I have a similar small Samsung which is by far superior in both respects.Other people have complained about the sound - to my mind at lower volume levels and for personal listening it is fine, but as you increase volume the sound quality deteriorates and it is in no way up to the job of being an entertainment hub - but then a small set is not intended for this use - you have to be realistic.Small set, small price, limited use - tick, tick, tick.

Great for the money
Purchased to replace a faulty tv in our kitchen, it’s nice and light for wall mounting, picture quality is very good, sound is easy to hear which helps in a noisy kitchen. Tuning was very simple and found lots of extra freeview channels to our existing one, and didn’t need a signal booster like the old one

What you expect from a cheaper tv
I knew it was not going to be great sound and it didn't disappoint

It's rubbish
The on/off switch doesn't work and when it's been on standby for a few days the remote doesn't work. You have to turn it off at the mains and back on again. Tried to contact RCA Support and went around in circles, so gave up in disgust. Will never buy RCA again, plus Amazon do not make it easy to return a faulty product.

Cheap. Poor quality
It seems that many TV models have been reviewed in this thread, so for clarity this review is for the RCA Model RB22HT5, 22 Inch LED TV.I purchased this item to function mainly as PC monitor but also as a TV. For its sub £100 price, it has the basic features that I required, HDMI port and 1920x1080 resolution display. It has a headphone socket which I use for external speakers as the built in ones are dreadful. It also has a USB port that allows TV recording to a USB stick/drive (only one tuner of course, so can’t change channels when recording).Unfortunately, this product has a major failing as a TV because it has a very seriously bugged Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). Selecting a channel and trying to scroll through and view the scheduled programmes, for example to select a programme for recording, is practically impossible because items are constantly overwritten, upon selection, by other (random?) items. On another day, I would have returned this product for this fault alone but manual recording timings can be set, albeit in a very, clunky way. Frustratingly, there is a menu option to update the software via USB but I can find no internet source for this model. (I have since bought a cheap Teknikal Freeview STB tuner that compensates for the broken EPG functionality of this TV).Additionally, the accompanying manual is woeful and the remote control is of very poor quality.Basically, this is a crappy cheap product which is OK as a monitor but seriously bugged as a TV. Not recommended.

Perfect for my kitchen
I do spend a fair bit of time in my kitchen and with the passing of a TV of long standing, I realised that I needed to replace it. The RCA has proved to be far superior to the old TV in picture quality and range of channels accessible. I did need a new indoor aerial to achieve this and now can carry out my kitchen duties without missing a programme. Very pleased with this purchase.
