Easy to fly. Pretty. I’m very pleased with it. Appears sturdy enough. Stable in moderate winds at the beach. Have not tested in strong winds.

After several months of rainy weather, we finally got a chance to fly this kite. It was easy to assemble and launch and it did well in 10-15 mph winds. We have flown many kites, some much more expensive, but this worked just as well for a fun weekend. We hope to fly it again soon. The fabric looks like it will hold up well.

This kite is promoted as a “kite for kids.” I would amend that to say that it is a kite for “kids of all ages.”The Laruita Large Rainbow Kite for Kids comes packaged neatly in a clear plastic sleeve with Velcro closure to keep it all together when not in use. The flight line and handle are included as well as a fish line spinner to attach the flight line to the kite. The kite has nice tails that trail off of each wingtip. I was very pleased to find an easy to understand, well-illustrated instruction card. The instructions indicate that this kite can fly in winds up to 20mph. I took the Laruita Large Rainbow Kite for Kids to the beach on a day when winds were 10 mph with gusts up to 17 mph. I did not measure with an anemometer, but I felt that the winds were closer to 17 mph than to 10. I followed the instructions to assemble the kite. I used sand to hold the kite down until I was ready to launch. I then unwound about 35’-40’ of flight line. When I was ready, I pulled back on the flight line and the kite went straight up. The kite maintained a stable position in the air. The line maintained a high angle indicating that the kite was able to easily handle the wind.Flying the Laruita Large Rainbow Kite for Kids was a real joy. I truly felt like a kid again.Once I was through flying I wound the flight line while allowing the kite to continue flying. I wound the kite all the way to my hand. I reversed assembly order to disassemble. I left the flight line attached to the kite, that will save a little time and effort next time I fly this kite. The kite fit nicely back in its sleeve. I give it two stars for effort. Confusing product from the beginning. Won't piece together or I'm a dummy. And I've been doing this a while.

Great gift for little kids. Nice to have a toy that isnt connected to wifi and makes kids go outside. Very sturdy and easy to use/setup

I got this to teach my roommate how to fly a kite which is something she never learned to do as a kid. It was colorful, a good size (slightly larger than I expected), made from rip stop nylon fabric and perfect for a beginner. It was easy to put together and loads of fun. The only downside was it took a long time to arrive.

The side frame elements have to be stuck together and moved around but despite several attempts disintegrate within minutes which makes the kite pretty unusable. The holder of the line is also pretty flimsy.Not recommended.
