Triton T40i Booster Shower Pump

This is the only product I can find of it's type, it is loud as I expected so if you want a quiet solution be prepared to pay more for a plumbed in option.

This made the water flow much better ( before it was very slow ) almost like a power shower, but it makes a lot of noise. Having said that it's worth the noise. It was very easy to install and operate. The only downside is the noise, otherwise it's a good product.

This is the third Triton booster shower pump over for us over the last 36 years. The previous one lasted circa 25 years and was still working but looked a bit tatty.Unit arrive before the stated time from the supplier. Fixed and worked 5 minutes for one shower. Come the second shower the pump/motor failed! Contacted this supplier who advised to contact Triton. On hold for 45 minutes with Triton and had to wait a week for an engineer visit. New unit the engineer brought had both screws missing from the front cover (took screws from the broken unit) and a piece of broken black plastic was floating around inside the unit - heaven knows where it has come from!Now in for 3 weeks and seems okay and definitely better water pressure than the old unit. Yes it is slightly noisy but no noisier than any other shower pump. Will it last? Who knows as it looks to be cheaper quality than the last two units and the Quality Control from Triton is questionable! Neither units had a cable clamp within the unit - although the screw holes are there.It does come with a flexible hose for use from the mixer taps to the booster unit. Took the opportunity to get a complete new Triton shower head, hose and rail.

This product is fantastic. Prior to installing, we had just over 3L per minute, hardly enough to wet your hair and certainly not an enjoyable experience. We now have almost 8L per minute and showers are a joy again. Easy to fit for a basic DIY’er. Not anywhere near as noisy as some other reviews make out. Pump is of good quality, a well made solid piece of kit. A cheap, efficient and effective way to enhance your water pressure.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do, very easy to install and operate.On the down side I would mention the internal LED which does not fit the intended location on the front cover.Perhaps an automatic switch of when running dry would be of help.Important to note that for some reason it was running dry for a few times after installation, then next day it started to work better. Could have been some airlock along the hot pipe supply from cylinder, however now its working just fine.

THE SHOWER PUMP IS NOT MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONE WE INSTALLED BACK IN THE LATE EIGHTIES.i WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT THE MANUFACTURERS WOULD HAVE UPPED THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS ITEM OVERTHIS PERIOD OF TIME.

The shower in our bathroom above the bath was a very disappointing experience even after trying a special shower head and changing the hose for a wider bore we still only got about 2 to 3 litres of water per minute. Wishing to avoid expensive major alterations with header tank, cylinder and high pressure inline pump we decided to try the Triton T40i Booster Pump. Minimal expense and minor electrical work resulted in a superb increase to over 7 litres per minute. We were so impressed we bought a 2nd and had it installed in our ensuite shower. Our total costs were less than £300 for all the work and the equipment. Well done Triton!!
