100% Egyptian Cotton King 400 Thread Count Extra Deep 16'' (40cms) Fitted Bed Sheet, White By Viceroybedding

I have purchased a complete set of Egyptian Cotton 400 Thread Count sheets (1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 duvet cover & 2 pillow cases) for my new King Size, 25 cm thick Memory Foam Mattress. Let me begin by mentioning that all the sheets fit perfectly: the fitted one wraps up the mattress entirely, being elasticated only at the four corners, not all over; the flat one is large enough to be folded on all four sides under the mattress; the duvet cover looks stunning on the bed; and the pair of pillow cases are a perfect match for my two 50 cm x 75 cm memory foam pillows.First of all, they all arrived very well packed, each of them in a plastic case with a zipper; the packaging looked pretty good, so I believe they could make a great present (however, I do not intend to part from mine!). Secondly, the quality is obvious from the moment of unpacking: it is clearly stated "100% Egyptian Cotton" on each sheet's zipped package, and also on their seamed label, unlike other "Egyptian Cotton" bed sheets I have recently bought that had just "100% Cotton" written on their inner label (fail!).Thirdly, you can literally feel their quality: they have a satin feeling, being soft and very pleasant to touch. They even sound different than other similar sheets. Last but not least, I'm glad they didn't smell awkward / foul, and consequently didn't have to wash them before first use. Just threw them on the bed and it was good to go! Be advised, by the way, that they should be washed at 40 °C, higher temperatures not being recommended. I haven't got the chance of washing them yet, so I cannot give you any feedback on the matter - but I have read among other customers' reviews that they wash well.To sum it up, these are good quality sheets, definitely worth the money. It's true what other customers said, that they tend to get creased, but personally I do not find that disturbing at all, though I don't intend to iron them either. I believe they are a good investment, since they look like they could last for many years (provided they're well taken care of, of course).I was afraid, initially, that their colour would prove to be a downside, because white tends to get dirty easier, but I also possess a complete set of black sheets, and you'd be surprised by how easily every small lint (let's not mention drool or other bodily fluids - like... sweat, for example) becomes obsessively obvious on the black ones :) These white sheets just offer a fresh, innocent look to your bed, changing the entire aspect of the bedroom: it all looks so clean and neat now!I definitely recommend the product. Buy with confidence. As for myself, I will definitely buy two more sets in the future.

Very nice sheets and a reasonable price too

Great extra depth, so that the sheet isn't a struggle to fit and doesn't ping off the mattress at the corners. Fabric seems cool and crisp, I would have given a 5 if it were a little softer, though I haven't washed it yet and suspect it will be softened after washing a few times.

This is a great fitted sheet, we have a 225mm thick king size mattress, we washed the cover before fitting it, it fits great, and feels really good, note on the packaging that the cover came in, said the sheet was a 500 thread count, great quality so far, I would purchase again.

.......(like dark chocolate) and doesn't really match the duvet cover and pillowcase colour, also feels very silky unlike cotton, it was a little tight so worried about shrinking that other people have mentioned but it looks decent quality so I'll keep this for a spare, hope the seller can update the colour on the website.

We bought a new Super King mattress and needed good sheets. After six months of use, I can tell you that these sheets are superb. I dried them in the dryer and they still fit over my extra-thick pillowtop mattress with an extra mattress topper over it. The trick to getting sheets to fit, after you dry them in the dryer: 1) Pull them out of the dryer when they are still hot. 2) Put the sheet over three corners of the mattress. 3) Pull and stretch the sheet from the fourth corner. 4) With other 3 corners on, lift corner of mattress and pull sheet over. They will fit snug and perfect like high-quality hotel sheets.As with any item that is 100% cotton, the fibres will tighten a bit from heat. Stretching the fibres back out while the sheets are hot will cause no harm to the sheets. It simply pulls the fibres back into place. To be expected with 400 thread count 100% cotton sheets! If you cannot handle pulling cotton sheets, then your only other option is to buy lower-quality poly-cotton blend sheets. Nothing beats sleeping on nice cotton sheets though.

I didn’t dislike the sheet, overall the quality of the sheet was ok, it’s just a shame when people packaged it they didn’t look as it was a 30cm sheet not 40.Struggled like hell thinking what’s the matter with this, I even washed it prior to putting it on(I do this with all new bedding) as I knew it was going to be ok, but no it’s going back.I can’t rate the comfort as I ever actually got into bed with it on.And of course what a struggle to get that back in the packet.
