a novel approach to drainage: have installed, but not really tested yet. Will report back after some heavier rains.

Appears to connect to corrugated but an additional adapter is needed to connect to PVC.
The item I received is similar but not what is in the product photo. The product description states it can be used with corrugated or PVC pipe. There are tabs on the outside of the round part of this item and it can only be attached to corrugated pipe unless you purchase another adapter to connect it to the PVC. Comparing the cost of this item to the cost of other connectors this item is not worth the price.

Used to use this exclusively in drainage work
This is the stuff we used when I worked for a drainage company twenty years ago. Never used the corrugated circular pipe. Used this instead. Used to buy it at lowes or home depot. Worked good. Line the bottom of the trench with sand, throw this in, line both sides with sand, then the top, and you're done. Used to buy connectors and it's with it. Can't seem to find it at hardware stores any more.
