Is this product only for use by children?

My ENT consultant suggested that I could usefully try Otovent to help with my deafness after colds etc which could take weeks or even months to improve! If that hadn’t have helped he would very reluctantly have considered further investigation or possibly surgery! I have a long history of sinus problems with surgery since age of 11 ! I am now 66 and the surgeon didn’t think he would achieve much with further surgery ! Otovent certainly helped - quite uncomfortable on first use but with practice it got easier and less painful. My 5 year old granddaughter had just been prescribed Otovent by her GP and that prompted me to ask the surgeon!

Question 2

Probably a daft question, but do you simply attach balloon to plastic thing and inflate via nostril?

Yes hold over one nostril breath in through mouth and steadily out into balloon. With practice hold the balloon inflated and try and swallow. Can be a bit uncomfortable to start with but helped clear up my eustacian tube blockage and deafness. It was recommended to me by my ENT consultant.

How many balloons in this pack?

I believe there were two balloons in the original pack that I bought. They last a fair time but quite pricey for spare balloons , I have a 5 pack but I think they were quite expensive. It works though! Recommended by an ENT consultant for my 6 year old granddaughter and then I asked my ENT consultant when I had trouble recovering my hearing after a holiday flight that descended to fast!! My hearing was helped a lot by this and my ears now pop when I drive up the hills in the Peak District where they haven't popped for many years! He did prescribe some fairly potent steroid drops as well though!

Can you buy replacement balloons?

No. The balloon is basically what you are buying! With a mouth piece that costs pennies
