Moderna Scratch Lounge Carton

My cat 'the chopper' loves this but she doesn't lounge in it - she just goes in there to have a good old scratch. It really does save the furniture and is compact. One of the best features is the hardwearing cardboard which doesn't disintegrate however vigorous the force of the scratch.It's a relief as well because 'the chopper' used to go for our toes in the morning but spends less time attacking us and more in her own pad.

Great product - my cat was clawing furniture, walls, and took no notice of my attempts to encourage him to use carpeted cat scratching products (which are generally very ugly). He loves the scratch lounge and whilst it seems pricey for what it is (essentially some cardboard) he uses it all the time, lounges in it, sleeps in it and has not scratched anything else since. Great stuff.

My cat hates everything I buy her. This amazed me, she loves it, she scratches this instead of the furniture and she sleeps in it (with the ends still on). I now have 2 and a happy cat!

I recently adopted two cats and had been told by their fosterer that they both liked to scratch. I needed to get something for them to scratch while I waited for the "monster" scratch post I have in storage to arrive. I did some searching around on the internet and found several references to the Scratch Lounger, and most comments were favourable, so I decided to try it. The cats ignored it for the first few days, but then Rosie discovered it and then Charlie. They now both really enjoy using it, and they don't just scratch it, they quite happily sit in it too. It's only been a few days, but so far they don't seem to be scratching anything else, they're just using their Scratch Lounger - they're happy and I'm happy! Still waiting for the "monster" scratch post to arrive, so it will be interesting to see what they make of that, and which one they end up preferring... In the meantime, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

Agree with other reviews. I have two cats that scratch and sit on furniture and wanted them to stop. I scattered the catnip into the natural grooves of the cat lounge. Whilst placing it on the ground, one of the cats started climbing in and was upside down in a state of bliss immediately. The only problem was the other cat wanted in on the action (so wished I'd bought two). A cardboard box next to it is providing a waiting spot to snatch the lounge from the other cat. What furniture?! (Be warned it took 3 weeks to arrive in post.)

A big hit with both my cats. Might need to buy another as lots of arguments over who's going to use it.

We've bought various toys, cushions and other cat paraphernalia over the years to keep our cat entertained, and she generally ignores it all. We saw this on a TV programme and I thought I'd give it a shot, and it's gone down a treat. She ignored it for the first couple of days, and then started scratching it when she thought we weren't looking, and now (after a week) will come straight to it in the lounge and give it a scratch before sitting in it. Highly recommended.

Both my two year old cats adore this. They wasted not time in getting to grips with it. They sit in it, lounge in it, scratch it - it's everything they want it to be. I would recommend it to everyone.
