Cute but hard to play with
The idea of this toy is cute. It looks nice once you get it together but if you try to move it or barely bump into any part of it it falls apart. We also have the playmobil pyramid and it stays in shambles. I regret purchasing both. We do like the plsymobil people just not the buildings.

misleading
when i say that it has 247 pcs i was under the impression that it would be able to keep my kids occupied for hours, what i didn't realize is that is pre-assembly and they are counting all the tiny connectors that hold it together, there are actually very few items to play with once it is assembled

Four year old granddaughter just loves the Royal Residence. She received for Christmas and has been playing with it a lot. It stimulates imagination and she is able to manipulate the items in set easily. She also has the Royal Birthday party & Royal coach. All sets are really well made and she enjoys them. Highly recommend.

Substantial gift! Really fun!
This ended up being awesome, but it took quite a bit of work to get there! My daughter is 7 and she really struggled with the directions. To be honest, I did too. It wasn’t terrible, but you do have to really focus. Also the amount of strength to click some pieces in place was insane! But now it’s built and structurally sound and she loves playing with it! It came in a huge box which made it a great gift!

Very poor instructions and pliers are necessary
This company should state that this toy requires a lot of parent assembly time. It should also mention that pliers are necessary to push the impossibly little connector pieces into place. The instructions are terrible and the pictures are very unclear. I think that the company should have assembled this themselves. At least learn a lesson from legos and IKEA on how to write clear assembly instructions.

Granddaughter loves this toy.
Our granddaughter loves this toy. The instructions said one hour for assembly. That is true if you work for the Playmobil company. It took three adults about 2 hours to complete assembly. It was worth the effort. Our granddaughter plays for hours with this toy.

Nice play castle
My daughter loves it. Nice castle -good detail, not quite so many Playmobil figures inside (4), but worth the money I think. Did take some time to assemble.

Hours of playtime with this little castle
Very nice playmobil set. My daugther absolutely loves it. Hours of playtime. Bought second hand but only the box was opened so actually it was brand new with great discount!
