I don’t know, but it has lots of storage

I love it, but how do you get the strong smell to dissipate?

You can’t get the smell out. I have that cart and months later, anything I put in it, still has that faint toxic smell. I’ve repeatedly cleaned it, put it outside in the sun and sprayed it and it still smells. The smell isn’t as bad as when I first received the cart but anything I put in it still has an odor. I love the cart itself just not the continuous toxic smell coming from it.

What size are the pegs that hold up the shelves?

Small! I used wood screws. I have used those brassie looking deck screws to support shelves for many years. You may add a dab of liquid nail on top of the head of the screw to make sure. I have done this on many shelving over MANY years. But not so EZ to adjust if you use glue.
