My children and I enjoyed this game - plenty of opportunity for imaginative role play at their level.

Very cool setting for a campaign
I really enjoyed running this adventure. The setting, more like Egyptian Nile River Valley than typical Lord of the Rings Medieval Europe was a really cool change of pace. I appreciate that it's set up to give the players lots of options for how they could play the adventure...you could slash your way through or almost any situation could be navigated through talking and creativity. The length was about 4 hours for us, which I thought was perfect and didn't exhaust my players. I would sayMy one bit of constructed criticism is a confusing ending scenario. They tried to give you different options, but the choices weren't fully fleshed out. I winged it a bit with the final confrontation and just did what made sense to me. Also there was a lot of fleshing out of interactions at the merchants house if you were to attack him or raid his rooms, but there was really no reason for my players to attack him so it felt like a lot of pages for nothing when other parts of the adventure were light on explanation.Still I really think this is a cool world and I want us to explore it more, looking at buying a few of the next adventures in this series as they are really affordable.
