Excellent Coffee, Excellent Price!
I was impressed with this batch of coffee! A rich, fruity aroma greets you when you open the bag. The brewing aroma is quite pleasing. The taste is very, very good!...fruity with chocolate overtones. I will definitely buy it again!

Fabulous coffee!!
I love this coffee!! I drink coffee literally 24-7! I wake up in the middle of the night to take a drink then go back to sleep. I will sometimes consume 32 ounces of coffee while sleeping. I have read some bad reviews of this coffee. As we all have different options that should be respected by all. One has to wonder about the number of poor reviews. I myself have drank my way through at least 20 of these bags of coffee. Each and every one were of the highest quality. Great bold flavors! Perhaps they bought the preground coffee, perhaps they used city water to brew their coffee. Perhaps they work at that place that is famous for burning their coffee beans.I for one will buy this again and again. It is the best and cheapest cup of Colombia roast that I can find.

Turned out to be a very good cup.
Bought this for back-up coffee. I typically roast my own beans and have been for 17 years, my usual back up brand is 8 o clock Colombian, but my vendor was out this past week, so I opted for the AmazonFresh Colombian. My roaster likes 70f air on the intake to do a perfect roast, so since it is winter here now I had to shelve it and start using pre-roasted beans. First off my burr grinder made easy work of the beans, but they tended to stick to the side of the hopper funnel. Using a conical drip brewer I did add 3/4 cup to the brewer for a 10 cup pot pot (50 ounces) on slo-brew and behold.... a very decent cup I would serve to anyone was created. For a 34 oz french press I would cut it back to 1/3 or half cup of grounds. Has a clean after taste, low acidity so I could easily drink a pot of this and still be able to taste my lunch. ...John

Good coffee
This is good coffee. I make espresso. Im fairly picky. I was buying expensive gormet coffee from a certain hill in Columbia, or Kona, or Java and Sumatra. Sometimes I would get great coffee, but sometimes it would have this “off” flavor that just spoiled it for me. Sometimes the roast was way off. I’ve been switching from coffee to coffee for years trying to find one I could live with every day.I found it. Amazon Columbian Medium coffee, the flavor is mild, consistent, and the roast is fine. Now, the flavor is not as richly flavorful as some of the best expensive coffees I’ve had, but this coffee does nothing wrong. There are no off tastes. I get a good, consistent cup of espresso every day. I like it better than anything else I can consistently find. Hope you like it as much as I do.

I'm Mr. Light Roast... this converted me to medium roast
If you're choosing between the AmazonFresh light roast vs this Columbia medium roast, go with this medium roast.I am a light roast devotee. An acolyte of the light roast. Fiercely dedicated to light tasty goodness. But these glorious beans have have brought me over to the medium side. For about a month I've been working my way through a bag of the Amazon light roast. It's "meh". Not great, not terrible. For the price, I thought it was worth it, which isn't exactly a glowing assessment.Luckily the light roast was out of stock last time I ordered so I went with the next lightest option. I'm so happy I made the move. These tasty beans are not-too-dark, nicely balanced, really mild bitterness, super nice round full flavor. I mainly do cold brew (yeah I know, coffee connoisseurs you're welcome to turn your nose up at me) and this makes AMAZING cold brew.I've tried a ton of other medium roast beans over the years and was consistently disappointed. They were either way too dark (why call them medium!?) or seemed to develop nothing but bitter/burnt flavors with none of the nice roasty goodness we all love. But these beans do it right. They strike the right balance. I'm never going back to light roast. Medium 4 life!

Good quality and value but didn't like the taste
We find that a lot of the Amazon products are good quality and value, and while that's true of this coffee, we just didn't like the taste. We tried. Our standard method for preparing coffee is a glass pour-over with steel mesh filter. First run at our normal grind and measure, the coffee was bitter. I tried a coarser grind, a smaller measure, an unbleached paper filter, even lowering the water temp to 180 deg. This improved the flavor but did not eliminate some unpleasant acrid notes that persisted even in iced coffee with lots of cream. It's a shame, because the coffee is obviously fresh with a great bloom and it's a lot of coffee for the price. I haven't tried a cold brew yet, which might rescue the remaining beans, but I don't plan to buy this coffee again.

Hold the cream and sugar!
Wow, I have been through so many different coffees in the past year trying desperately to find one I like the natural taste of and this is it! I prefer to drink my coffee black, as in no cream, no sugar. I do it mainly to truly fast until I’m ready for a meal. I haven’t been able to drink my coffee sans cream for awhile until now. Prior to receiving this Amazon branded coffee I actually bought the Community Columbian version a few days ago to see if I even liked Columbian coffee...I didn’t like the Community stuff. It was pretty bad, even my husband who will drink his coffee black regardless of flavor couldn’t drink it. I became a little anxious when I realized the Community stuff was a fail and I’d already put in an order for the Amazon coffee. I had hope though because the reviews here were fairly good. Anyhow, this coffee is approved coming from a preferred black coffee drinker. It’s smooth, not bitter, has a well balanced neutral taste. I imagine it’d be good with any kind of creamer as well. It’s easy to drink and I’m looking forward to my next cup as I sit here sipping the remainder of this cup.
